Most impressed with the staff hospitality and responsiveness. Stayed there before going back to my home country and glad to choose staying this hotel. Due to the bad weather, I was able to make most of my stay with the great room facility. This was my last stay in HK before leaving back to my home country and the hotel made it very special.

Birthday celebration

It was a wonderful experience staying at the House. I would like to give compliments to the reservation and guests experience team in arranging a smooth and surprised birthday experience to my love. The early check in prevented us from hanging around after brunch, which was as per my request and thank you for that. The upgrading of our room to the suite, which I did not request and this surprised me. The birthday candle provided by the Continental during our dinner, which I did not request and this was so sweet. Thanks for all the hard work and I would definitely come back again.

Birthday Staycation at Upper House

It was my Birthday on May 1. My wife surprised me by booking Upper House for a staycation in Hong Kong. The entrance is right next to JW Marriot. It is quite hidden to provide privacy for guests. While we were waiting for check in, a hotel staff provide water for us. (Which was quite nice.) Another staff helped us checked in and guided us to our room. Her name is Stephy. My wife told Upper House it was for a Birthday celebration. Stephy was kind enough to help us upgrade to Seaview Suite for the stay! She provided a room tour and let us know where everything is. She is very nice abd friendly! My wife also booked the in room massage. We were quite busy all the time and rarely have time to relax. At first, a staff set up one massage table by the TV area and the other was by the amenity cupboard. The masseurs arrived at 4pm. When we went to change, the masseurs moved the table by the amenity cupboard to the TV area. They explained that we can have a couple's massage next to each other. It was very generous of them to make this experience more memorable. May was one of the masseurs. She noticed my wife had a surgery scar on her back. She let my aife know that she will avoid the scar area. May provided a great massage experience for my wife. Julianna was the other masseur. She notice my shoulder muscle is very tight. She spent more time on my shoulder area during the massage. We were both relaxed and all our muscle ache were gone. Thank you to both. =) After the massage, the birthday cake arrived. It was a mango cream Napeleon. Stephy was able to arrange it as my wife mentioned that I love mango. Our breakfast at Salisterra was great! I had the dim sum set while my wife had the western set. It was quite nice to see the harbour while eating breakfast. The breaskfast was delicious. Our stay at Upper House was very memorable. We will definitely return for a second visit.
