As things start to hot up the bar unveils its ”Dentist's Chair'. The chair is just like the one you'd find in any surgery, but the mouthwash tends to be of the alcoholic variety.

If you'd rather dive into the evening headfirst then Fishbowl is the place to go. This lively bar is famous for its ”Fishbowl Cocktail', which arrives, as you might expect, in a huge glass fishbowl. This is a good bar for groups of friends who want to set themselves up before heading off to one of the island's nightclubs.

The clubs

There are clubs by the dozen along the Laganas Strip, each with their own character and style. A cornerstone of the Zante nightlife landscape, Rescue was the first on the scene and is still the biggest of the island's clubs. It can hold over 2,000 people and boasts three club-rooms and six bars. In addition, Rescue is the only club on the island to have a separate VIP bar and lounge. Zero's is well known for attracting top DJs from around the world, who get the crowd going with blistering sets.
