What can I do with just a few days on Lesbos?

It’s the 3rd biggest Island of Greece, there is a lot to visit. There is of course the famous Petrified Forest Parc and the museum in the West of the Island. Lots of monasteries, the biggest is Moni Limonos with a museum with very old books and handwritings and folklore. Or you visit the small mountain villages in the North, with some picturesque harbour villages and the church of the Archangel in Mandamados. Visit also the south with the Mount Olymp, the pelgrimvillage Agiassos also very know because of woodcarving, ceramics and the Mariachurch. Further there are great places of nature to visit, in the right seasons birdwatching and walkingtreks etc

Yes there are several renting offices which rents motorcycles.

Can I go scuba diving in Lesbos?

Yes, in Petra there is a diving school where you can learn to scuba dive.

Is Vatera Beach the best beach on Lesbos?

Vatera is the longest beach, 9 km. there are many nice beaches. In the north where our resorts are the famous stonebeaches of Eftalou, the sandy beaches in Petra and Anaxos. Along the coastline there are many little beaches with a small tavern, some more others less known. In the South there is Vatera and Isidoros Beach as well as Melinda Beach. And in the West the best know beaches with sand are Skala Eressos and Sigri.

Do I need to hire a car on Lesbos?

Hiring a car is possible but not a necessity, many sights can be seen by joining an excursion.
