Holidays in Psalidi

Laid-back Psalidi lies in the east of Kos, just 3.5km from Kos town. Psalidi is the perfect holiday spot if you want to be close to the hustle and bustle of Kos town, but like the idea of retreating back to somewhere a bit quieter at the end of each day. Here, you can spend your days whizzing around the Kos coastline on a jet-ski, or taking in the island scenery on the back of a mountain bike.

Psalidi is a peaceful resort, best suited to holidaymakers looking for a chilled-out holiday in the sun. Head down to the popular sand and shingle beach and relax on a sunbed, or if you’re feeling active, try out kite-surfing, jet-skiing or sailing. Kos has an extensive network of cycle paths, so why not hire bikes for the family and explore the island at your own pace? When it’s time to kick back and relax, get the bus to Therma Beach to soak in the hot volcanic springs.

Stretch your legs with a walk around scenic Lake Psalidi. This unspoilt area is home to rare birds and flamingos that live amongst the lake’s lush greenery. If you fancy venturing further afield, hop on a bus to Therma Beach to experience the island’s reinvigorating hot springs. Located in a rock pool at the end of a pebble beach, you can sit in the luscious warm water as it bubbles up through the rocks. The Plaka pine forest is just a 20 minute drive from Psalidi, and is the perfect place for a family picnic. Keep an eye out for the majestic peacocks that live in the area.
