Self catering a none starter,Stena apartments were clean and the location very peaceful ,that's was the good side.The bathroom,it was throwback to 70s greece broken toilet seat reported ,but not not fixed ,shower hand held with a poorly fitted curtain,the shower drain blocked again no response from staff.basicly no room to place any toiletries. The kitchen was very very poorly equip 1 ring a kettle NO toaster but you could hire 1 for 7 euro a week, 1 fry pan 1 pan that was it,apart from knives forks spoons.No kitchen utensils were included so you could not even fry an egg let alone cook a basic meal ,did ask staff but got no joy Stena you need to update

I don’t normally write reviews but just wanted to say thanks once again. I knew about stenna but never stayed before. Imagine my surprise it’s owned and run by my good friends xxx Kostas please give mama a hug x for the people who read negative comments please do not take notice. The family members at stenna and the politis restaurant work tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome and provide spotlessly clean accommodation at an unbeatable price. If you have a problem just ask politely and they will do everything they can to fix it. But remember if you expect the ritz then book the ikoz all inclusive for thousands not Stenna for pennies. If you want the best value in kefalos then you’ll find it here. If you need a pool you can use any that are close by just purchase a drink the location is perfect for all the bars and restaurants along the harbour road. Kostas please tell Maria I miss my morning coffee. Me and Peter hopefully will be back sooner rather than later xxx

Just back from a week staying in Stena apartments. Absolutely perfect! Ideal location just off the end of the main road. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a fridge freezer, kettle and two ring hob if you want to cook. We dined out and found some great restaurants at reasonable prices. The sisters work so hard to keep the place perfectly maintained and were up and about at 6am every day working until late in the evening. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back.
