Located towards the south end of the island of Kos, these simply furnished studios provide an ideal base from which to enjoy the beauty of the island. Benefitting from cooling sea breezes and a wonderful view of the Aegean from its' elevated position on a steep hill, the village of Kefalos which was once the ancient capital of the island and is now a quaint Greek village, is just a short walk from the property. The nearby beach is less than a five minute stroll and local amenities can be found close by. For lazy days close to home, guests can benefit from the onsite swimming pool and sun-bathing terrace, with perhaps a light snack while admiring the view from the room balconies or terraces.

Our first time in Kos to attend my daughter’s wedding at a nearby resort, so we didn’t know what to expect. We booked three apartments here, all were spotlessly clean with everything that we could need and wonderful sea views. After 4 days here, I suffered a back injury which left me incapacitated. Denise called the Doctor for me and visited me with snacks and coffee. Her kindness and compassion went over and beyond what I could’ve ever expected. She also moved me to a ground floor apartment to make mobility easier. If you want a true taste of Greek hospitality, come here. Food is fresh and great value. Denise, her husband George and their entire family make you feel so welcome. I am so desperately unhappy to be leaving here but I am doing so more relaxed and with a smile on my face. Oh, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Great stay, amazing and helping houseowner

We stayed in Archodia for our holiday 11.08.-25.08.2020 and were really happy about our choice. The rooms are simple but perfectly clean. The house owners are so friendly and helping if you need anything. Dionisia is always there and finds solution for any of your problems. Archodia is located a little bit up, so you have a great view to the sea. You can observe the sun rise from your balcony in the morning. You can reach the beach in about 10 minutes slow walking. We preffered the beach close to the port. That was about 15-20 minutes by feet. The upper town is also reachable very well. but we were lazy and took the car there :-D Kefalos is a nice little city, you can chill here, you have nice smal beaches with beautiful water but you have also many car rentals (I recommend Dimitris car rentals near the port and Katerina for quads and bikes) to make trips. Kos is smal so you never drive over 45 minutes even if you go the bigest distances. I recommend Thermes beach at night! Kos city, Plaka Forrest-Park esp. if you love cats or have kids, drive to kardamena and take boat to Nissyros and Alykes lake + you can combine with a day at Tigaki beach. I wish you also such a beautiful holiday as we had.

Nice rooms but staff speaks no English

Archodia studios is a nice place in a good location, very close to the bus station for the airport and Kos. Rooms are spacious and nice. The fact that the staff didn't speak any English or that the trash in the bathroom wasn't cleaned every day was a bit disappointing though.
