Loved our stay here. All the staff were Wonderful! Food and drink was delish. Even the house wine! We especially loved the watersports available. Special mention must go to Olena at Olea Lounge restaurant: she is a Diamond! The accommodation was lush and the entire resort was stunning.

Beautiful location, wheelchair accessible, lazy staff

Location on the beach was beautiful and food was quite good. Several days we saw dolphins <3. And all the sports where easily accessible, good quality and fun! The location is also quite wheelchair friendly, only beach/sea was not accessible. (water ski was accessible, the catamarans not.) Wheelchair room is per definition facing the mountain, not the sea. The wheelchair room was bigger than standard room; you can move with wheelchair around both sides of the beds and there is a big second bathroom, very nice! The room smelled like sewage; a siphon was missing. After a shower the whole bathroom was flooded, so the wheelchair had to stay outside the bathroom (or stack whole floor with towels!) There is a small chair sit attached to the wall; if u sit on it u can NOT reach the shower. So if u wanna shower without assistance, u need another chair. (took me 3 days to get it..while I requested it with reservation!) The room definitely need a renovation, we had to complain several days in a row, to get a chair and they didn't fix the drainage problem and smell. The GO team is lazy to what we are used to at Club Med. They lack enthusiasm and mostly just sit together with other GO's. If u don't speak french, you are a bit of a paria, as most GO's hardly speak English on this location! To be fair, most on the guests only speak French aswell, so it was a "lonely" vacation. Luckily there was one English family that we met and could communicate with. If we ever go back, it would be after a renovation and not to expect a club med experience but just for the location.

Gorgeous location

Gregolimano did not disappoint. After quite a long journey from the UK, it was amazing to get into a Club Med ferry boat and speed across the sea in 20 minutes direct to the resort, where we were welcomed as always by a collection of staff. As it was late (after 9 pm) we went quickly to get supper, which was up to the standard we know well. There was also a show in the amphitheatre. We had a great room on the 9th floor of the hotel, with a balcony and a lovely view over the ocean. The only downside of our room was that the dancing and music at the bar in the evening was extremely loud, so that we had to close our windows to be able to sleep. As we were at the far end of the hotel, we weren't near, so you must have to have accommodation a very long way away to be out of earshot. Everything was well arranged, with loads of waterskiing, tennis and all their normal activities. We would recommend Valentin and Martina at the tennis for their friendliness and helpfulness, but we also found the Reception staff were very good and several spoke really excellent English - in fact many of the GOs did. The resort is quite spread out, as they usually are, however, you need to be aware that if you are staying in the hotel you mostly need to take 2 lifts which was a bit slow and you needed to leave time to get around. There appeared to be no lift to the ground so you always had to walk down or up a set of steps, however, there was definitely wheelchair access somewhere. We did one excursion, a boat trip down the coast to the local town, to see the seals and to another beach where we swam and were given a plate of calamari. This was very pleasant and the GO (Gianpierro) very helpful and well informed. However, although enjoyable, it was expensive at 55 euros/head for 3 1/2 hours in a boat and relaxing at a beach. The pool area was very good and spotlessly clean and tidy, however, it was fairly small and there was just one pool for everyone (there is a lot of beach). We were there in September, but it must be very busy and noisy during school holidays. There were good sitting areas near to the bar and the bar did their best to keep up with demand, but there was nearly always a queue. The restaurant generally had enough space and was well arranged (there was also a speciality restaurant below the main Reception). The meals were good generally, although as ever, the bacon was poor, but the orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious. Can Recommend.
