For a day out with the kids, go and explore the attractions at Hydropolis Water Park in Acharavi. Race down the slides, splash in the pools or simply relax as you lie back on the sun loungers while enjoying the warm Greek sunshine. To get to the water park, take the short ten minute drive from Roda to neighbouring Acharavi. When you get there, look out for the signs to Hydropolis Water Park, stopping in the large car park. If you don't have a hire car, you can take the bus or take a 40 minute walk from Roda. Arriving at the park, put your valuables in the lockers and find yourself a sun lounger. Acharavi Water Park is quite compact, making it easy to watch the kids as they go from slide to slide. To get the adrenaline pumping, brave a ride on the biggest slides, from the long Toboggan to the speedy Free Fall, the Double Multi Run and the Hydro Tube. For a more peaceful experience, relax on the rings that float along the lazy river. You can enjoy the larger swimming pool while your little ones play in the children's pool. If you're feeling energetic, there's even water volleyball, aquafit and tennis. When you've built up an appetite, go and get a snack or go All Inclusive to have the benefit of soft and alcoholic drinks all day long, as well as a hot buffet lunch. Let your meal go down in the shade of an umbrella before going back on the slides. Before leaving, go and browse the onsite shop where you can buy souvenirs.
