This adults only hotel is located approximately 200 m away from the beach and Roda´s village centre, on the north coast of Corfu Island.The Silver Beach Hotel is set in its own gardens in the resort of Roda, within walking distance to a selection of bars and restaurants, a variety of shops and taverns, and as well to the public transport. It is also situated 38 km Northwest of Corfu town ( Kerkyra ), and 36 km from the airport.The hotel facilities and services include 24 h reception, lobby area with lift, TV lounge, indoor bar, restaurant (buffet style), outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, sun terrace, pool bar, billiards and gardens. It also offers occasional night entertainment.The rooms are equipped with air conditioning (extra charge), safe (extra charge), mini fridge, radio, telephone, balcony or terrace and bathroom with shower. Quiet place, with extra polite and kind staff and with the most beautifull food in the are. Everything tastes like homemade mom’s cuisine. The rooms are clean, as well as kitchen. Good job Silver Beach, well done and thank you for your hospitality!

Location was excellent not even 5 min walk from the beach and everything is nearby, the rooms were cleaned every day and so were the towels changed and toilet paper etc, the stuff were absolutely lovely , can't fault them even if you try , the food was good for the price we paid , we didn't expect gourmet food or lobsters so we were well happy , and some of the dishes especially the Greek ones were absolutely delicious, we will definitely come back, you can't meet nicer owners, thanks again from Nikos and Lorraine!!

Basic hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and will not be returning. I read reviews before booking it and they seemed reasonably okay. Where do I start? A small family run hotel, pleasant staff but not many around. The pool was decent but they had a jacuzzi which was full of dirt and had an oily film floating on the top, we didn't go in. The slide was blocked off at the bottom, so was out of use, no idea why. It was very relaxing laying by the pool as it is an adults only hotel, so was peaceful. We paid for air con that did not work apart from letting out a bit of cool air while we were asleep, which meant each evening when we got ready to go out, we were sweating. The guy at reception told us to change the air con temperature but it made no difference, so was a waste of money. This hotel was half board but we ate out at restaurants most of the time as the breakfast and evening meal were very basic. Powdered orange juice or water for breakfast with spongy omelette or boiled eggs. No fresh fruit or herbal teas and one choice of cereal. Evening meal, just water to drink and bland basic dishes, not much selection at all. After each meal I would have to visit the toilet straight away, whereas I never had that problem when we ate out at restaurants. The reception area appeared clean but never smelt fresh. We had to catch the cleaner daily to ask for toilet tissue as it was rarely replaced. They had blue guest towels which smelt frowsy and were stained. I checked under my bed before I left to go home and there was thick dust underneath it. Our balcony view was a low roof top of another building with a pair of somebody's boxer shorts thrown on top and an ice cream container lid. Both of these items were easily reachable but by the looks of things had been there for a long time. The water when we had a shower was only warm in the evenings and the mornings was bearable as they obviously adjusted the temperature. Roda is a beautiful place to visit if you want a nice peaceful and relaxing holiday. Everything is on your doorstep and one positive comment I can give about Silver Beach, is the locality. I would definitely return to Roda, it is beautiful but never again would I stay at Silver Beach. If you're looking for a basic hotel, which I thought was a 3 star but more like a 2 star, then this will be the hotel for you.
