Soak up the sunshine as you relax on the warm, pebbly sands of Avlaki Beach. The long Blue Flag bay is the perfect spot to unwind with a good book or snorkel in the clear blue waters.
Still considered a ”hidden gem', Avlaki Beach is an unspoiled and quiet bay that's popular with the locals and home to just a few apartments and two tavernas. You can rent a boat, hire a pedalo or take a lesson at the sailing school, perfect for families with adventurous older children.
Avlaki Beach is located between Kassiopi and Agios Stefanos. To reach the beach, hire a car and park opposite before taking a short stroll over the boardwalk to the crescent-shaped shore.
Alternatively, you can walk to the beach from Kassiopi along the coast and through beautiful olive groves. At the beach, rent a sun lounger and relax before paddling in the cool waters and admiring the view.
If you have young children, be aware that the sea gets very deep a few metres out, so make sure they're supervised at all times.
After your day on Avlaki Beach, head north to Kassiopi or south around the headland to Agios Stefanos for a relaxing evening meal.
