What a fantastic hotel. It had everything we could have wanted and more. I had read loads of reviews before we booked and they were pretty good. Some people mentioned it needed a refurb though. We were surprised when we arrived - yes there were some areas; mainly in the room, that weren't perfect but this didn't detract from it being really stunning. Excellent location on the sea front with incredible views; within walking distance of the town. The buses are regular and very cheap. The staff at the hotel were amazing, and the other guests so friendly. There was a very small outside pool which was absolutely fine for us but maybe wouldn't be to everyone's liking. We were bed and breakfast - breakfast was very good. We also had dinner in the restaurant several nights; this was really reasonably priced at £15 each including a glass of wine. We'd definately stay here again - highly recommended.

Excellent few days stay at the end of the season, hotel as expected from photos and reviews. 3rd floor sea-view room. Supply of daily bottled water welcome, however more milk was expected other than the 2 supplied [ took advantage of maids trolley one day !] Missed the chocolates as featured on promotional hotel video ? Each day rooms serviced, beds made and fresh towels. Bathroom spacious, just a liitle painwork could be touched up. Thought the toiletries, shower gel etc would be restocked. Grip rail in bath necessary as no anti slip mat for bath. Lots of hot water. Found all staff approachable and friendly ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE 4 PIGEONS IN THE DINING ROOM AT BREAKFAST, staff made no attempt to get them outside.

World class service and a top holiday experience

I have been to 70 countries and seen many different hotels. But I can definitely say that the Mayor Mon Repos is a hotel of world class level. As a guest one feels at home. All the employees of the hotel do everything they can to make your holidays unique. Mr Kostas as the leader of the service team is well-organsed and welcoming friendly. The team (Alexandra, Iris, Evi, Spiros etc.) are very competent, work fast and efficient. That applies as well to Maria (bar), Lina and Victoria (reception) in the most positive sense. Others may forgive me for not having mentioned them by name, but the positive impression definitely includes everyone. I will come back next year since this is the best place to rest and recover.
