We stayed at the Ambassador hotel as part of a group of fans from Holland to assist a football game in Monaco. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Monaco and we received an excellent service from the french receptionist ,sorry don’t remember his name,a bit difficult. He gave us some useful informations and directions for Monaco and Nice ,a good man with a good humor and good mood.We do recommend this hotel to everybody.

Could be much better

Stayed at the end of October as a couple at the ambassador hotel and we were so disappointed as with its prime location ,the hotel could be so much better and upmarket. There is a lack of customer care ,going from a very rude old night receptionist who lacks any skills in dealing with customers,I am afraid he passed his sell by date, then you have during the day,the lady receptionist who just does not bother speaking English and makes no effort whatsoever in trying to understand you, then you have the restaurant manager (he does not look like a manager at all but more like a bully) who is a very rude ,paranoid person who stays in front of you watching you eating and waiting for you to finish ,so he can charge you ,as if we were going to run away after eating, very strange person. On a business level, these details will be harming the hotel and could result in income losses.I know what I am taking about as I am in hospitality business, and to be honest ,I never saw such bad customer care.

Nope, rather pay more for a better hotel

The room was ok, but old. You can totally see that the hotel had his best years, a lot of years ago. The breakfast room was in the night time a pizzeria and it looked pretty nasty. The breakfast was bad!! As a vegetarian u could just eat a toast with butter. Even my partner who normally eats meat didn’t like to eat that ham so he also ate a toast with butter they didn’t serve any water for breakfast. Maybe you get a better overall view from Monaco if you stay in a different hotel and pay probably the double off the price but this is probably worth it. But to das something nice, The receptionist from check-in was nice
