Wonderful view, friendly staff great breakfast
Really lovely hotel, extra great staff. Feels really luxurious. The bed was like a giant marshmallow and although I didn't sleep very well, this was no fault of the bed or the hotel. Wonderful stay, I hope to be back
Good value for money
Good value for money. Good breakfast, really nice views from the hotel, location is perfect, rooms a little outdated, possibility to store luggage, too little elevators for such a hotel-you have to wait a long time at peak times…
Amazing
We stayed at the Tower Hotel for two nights 17 & 18 March. The hotel isn’t particularly pleasant on the eye from the outside due to its age and brutalist era of building, but as it’s description states, it sits in a stunning position near to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The reception is bright and welcoming with friendly reception staff. Our room as we walked in was fabulous with a view of Tower Bridge and the Shard, just a short walk along the Southbank behind it. The hotel also has its own underground car park with a 24hour stay being £25. At the time of our visit they didn’t do reserved parking but there were plenty of parking spaces available. The point that let the hotel down was the disgusting state of the bath which contained the over-bath shower. As long as you didn’t look there it was fairly clean and respectable with comfy beds. We only had the breakfast on our day of departure which as has been previously said in earlier reviews, can be very busy and with a few queues, but on our visit it was well organised and the food was very tasty. Being a fairly central location of the city the hotel had various forms of public transport nearby and is just a very short walk to the bars and restaurants of St Catherine’s Dock along with many other varied venues for food and drink in the vicinity. We would love to stay in the hotel again with it being such a grand location, but they very much need to sort the shower cleaning issues. Aside from that we had an amazing stay and would very much recommend this hotel.
