The course has a driving range and top-class facilities, catering to the pros as well as novice golfers. The resort’s smart marinas are the place to go in El Gouna for shopping and nightlife. Browse the chic boutiques, bustling bazaars and local arts and crafts shops to find a unique gift to bring home, then stop for lunch or a drink in the harbour. In the evenings, there are even a number of upbeat bars and nightclubs open until late.
If you’re up for an adventure, there are lots of activities in El Gouna that make the most of the beautiful landscapes. Plan an excursion to the desert where you can take a trip on quad bikes, ride a camel and stop at a real Bedouin camp. Sailing is another El Gouna must – the Red Sea looks particularly beautiful from a catamaran or glass-bottom boat, and you can even charter a fishing boat. If you’re away with kids, there’s loads of fun stuff to keep them busy. Play a family game of mini golf at the harbour, have a race on the go-karting track or take a horseback ride along the beach.
