Our pool service was amazing ! Nelson junior is a hard worker and very efficient worker! He served drinks, food, snacks and towels everyday from 8-6 for 7 days! Nelson was truly one of a kind and super friendly! He made us feel right at home in PARADISE!!!! Our breakfast staff welcomed us each morning with smiles and jokes! Cesar and Alajandro are very attentive and polite! We also learned a lot more Spanish, thank you to this beautiful staff! Thank you again to the entire Dreams staff for an unforgettable experience and hospitality! We will be visiting again! Erin&John

Wow the entrance to the hotel is breathtaking and then from the bus boys to the reservation takers was phenomenal. Food was great entertainment was beyond great especially Willis, Chocolatte and whole entire dance team made are stay a rememberable one we diffinitly be back. The only down fall to the hotel was the rooms. They are in need of an upgrade. Our stay was needed thanks Willis for the good times we had during our stay.

First off, a word of warning. TUI sell this as a 5 star resort, it is only officially a 4 star and I would not give it that. Sold a “Preferred Club” upgrade at check in for $400, this is just the start of people trying to sell you things. Not worth the money, can’t get anywhere near the beach premium area which is rammed, the breakfast is better at the buffet and there is just a “ premium” bar giving the same drinks as everywhere else. Given a room and given directions of “down there and left” on check in. After walking for some time we have found the room and to our shock the card worked and we walked in on someone already in the room getting changed!! Had to flag down the bellboy to stop him delivering our bag to this room as well and go back to reception who said he was very sorry - I’d be more sorry to the woman he had just allowed us to walk in on getting changed!! New room (thankfully unoccupied) was old. Very loud air con. Very loud on corridors/noises throughout the night. Very old shower and bath. Holes in the floor and mirror you can barely look in because it is that old and damaged. Good view of the pool. Staff are mostly unfriendly and barely speak English. This is a problem when the vast majority of the guests speak English. Tried to get concierges to help us with a lost suitcase - TUI have lost it on the flight and my partner only had the clothes she was wearing on the plane and nothing else. Told “you are on holiday, go and buy some beach clothing and you will be fine”. No other help offered or given. Had to use Google Translate on Whatsapp to try and get our bag back as they would not help us make phone calls. Every time we asked the concierges or bell boys or anyone for help, they were unable or unwilling to do so. TUI rep nowhere to be seen - told by the hotel she would be there numerous times but never showed up. Food is poor. Have to wait for most restaurants. Asked once politely how long the wait was and literally got shouted at and told it was very busy. Whole resort around the pool is very shaded with little sun. Very strange set up where the pool goes through the whole resort. Bitten by mosquitos - came off lightly compared to some others we have seen walking round with bites!! People all over the place trying to sell you things in the lobby, on the walkways and especially on the beach. Beach vendors in particular security should stop. The circus show was frankly dangerous, as an example 3 of them were stood on each others shoulders, the one at the bottom fell on the stairs sending them all crashing to the floor in front of children. Only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt. We have stayed in the DR before at the hotel that is literally next door, and it was amazing, hence coming back. This hotel has put us off the DR forever. If we could have left early we would have done. Also - Tripadvisor should look at some of the reviews here. Most are 5 star, very short, mention the same staff members names and the author only has 1 contribution. I strongly suspect the hotel/staff are writing about themselves. Oh and the WIFI is rubbish.
