Getting There


From Cardiff city centre, following the A4326 the main route to the airport, driving should take approximately 30 minutes. If you’re travelling from either Bristol or Swansea follow signs from the M4 again to the A4326, from both cities it should take around 1 hour 10 minutes.

 Public Transport

There is no direct train to the airport however Arriva Trains and a shuttle bus connects the closest station to the airport terminal. From Cardiff the journey takes approximately 42 minutes, journey’s from Swansea and Bristol take around 2 hours using the same combination of trains and a shuttle bus. 


 If you want to take the worry of travelling to the airport away you can book the Holiday Inn Express at Cardiff Airport. Book with or without parking at the hotel or Cardiff’s long stay 2 car park. Prices at the Holiday Inn include breakfast and transfers to the airport which is just 5 minutes away.

Cardiff Airport Parking

If you choose to drive to Cardiff Airport they have a number of options for parking your car. Options include cheaper offsite parking which includes a 5 minute transfer in the price, or an onsite option where you can walk into the terminal.
