In need of renewal

May 2022 | Norbert A

The hotel needs a renewal with a new interior, modern check-out possibles, modern bar, higher room standards and a less conventional breakfast. The elevators are also to small. But the location is excellent.

not 4 stars like. OK for a short business stay. My room wasn't always cleaned. Since it is near to a train station and next to a kind of hostel place where young people have parties at night, the hotel should invest in more soundproof windows. It made little difference concerning the noise level if they were open or closed

Excellent value for location- served as a great homebase in Copenhagen

A group of us stayed in two rooms at the Imperial this past weekend. We found that it provided excellent value, given the price. The hotel is a quick walk from the train station, which was ideal for getting to and from the airport, as well as around the city by metro. It was also adjacent to trendy neighbourhoods with great restaurants. Convenience stores, coffee shops, and grocery stores were just a hundred metres away from the front entrance. We also loved the free breakfast. It was plentiful, with lots of different options from people of all backgrounds (hot and cold options). We loved the coffee. A few small improvements could be made to the property in general, such as upgrading mattresses, adding more mirrors in common areas of the hotel rooms, and installing larger glass shower barriers so that the whole floor does not get wet. However, we overall enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in the city centre.
