Michelangelo Grand Hotel couldn’t be better placed. It’s in the heart of the old town of Prague, close to the Národní trída Metro stop. This 5 star hotel is housed in a very attractive 19th-century building with a grand facade. Not only does it have a unique appearance, but it also has a rare feature inside - a beer spa. Here you can bathe in oak tubs filled with beer, while drinking a beverage straight from the keg.

The rooms are equipped with stylish period furniture and feature WiFi, satellite TV, a Nespresso® machine, a safe and a minibar. Triples and interconnecting options are also available for larger groups. If you’re looking for a home-from-home feel, upgrade to a suite. They are set over two floors, with a downstairs living area and an upstairs bedroom with a king sized bed.

A scrumptious breakfast is served daily in the hotel’s restaurant. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of Michelangelo Grand Hotel, so you could eat somewhere different each night. Maybe you’ll sample foods such as goulash (pork stew), kulajda (mushroom & potato soup) and bramboráky (potato pancakes). The hotel’s Lobby Bar is open from 10am to midnight and offers a wide range of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks. You should try a shot of the local Becherovka liqueur after your dinner.

And while there’s plenty to see and do in Prague, if you fancy a change of scenery you are just 1.5km from the main train station.
