Limassol – Weather
Limassol has a very hot and sunny climate that brings constant warmth and sunshine to the region all year-round. Its location on the southern coast of Cyprus means Limassol is always basking in the warmth of the Mediterranean sunshine. Summer begins in May and runs through to October with up to 12 hours of sunshine per day. Temperatures rarely drop below 20°C with highs in the mid-30s. You won’t have to worry much about rainfall in the summer since there’s less than 4mm of rainfall per month, which means you can enjoy as much sunshine as possible on holiday. In the evenings, you can look forward to cooler temperatures thanks to the sea breezes blowing into the coastline at night.
The good weather in Limassol lasts through autumn with temperatures remaining in the 20s until late November. Most of the rainfall in Limassol falls over December and January with around 102mm per month and up to 12 wet days each.
For a cooler climate, spring is the best time to visit. Temperatures in Limassol are around 20°C in April with nightly lows of 9°C. It continues to get warmer in May and the sea also warms up to around 17°C.
