Temperatures in Ayia Napa peak in the summer. The hottest months are July and August, which have an average temperature of 32°C. June and September are slightly cooler at 30°C with lows of 20°C at night. There are up to 14 hours of sunshine per day, giving you plenty of time to enjoy yourself during your stay.
October has an average temperature of 27°C that drops to 22°C in November. Evenings are cooler at 16°C, which is mild and comfortable for sleeping at night. Rainfall begins to increase to around 43mm over ten days per month. The sea is still warm with an average water temperature of 23°C.
Ayia Napa weather in December is quite wet compared to the autumn months and you can expect a monthly average of 80mm. Temperatures are much lower during the day, falling to 14°C and 12°C by January. At night, you’ll need a jacket to stay warm since the average low is a chilly 7°C from December to February.
Spring is slightly warmer with averages ranging from 14°C in March to 21°C in May. There isn’t much rain by the end of the season with just three wet days spread over the month of May.
