Holiday Village Sagitta is a beachfront hotel near Omis, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. It's a short drive from the resort centre, where you'll find souvenir shops, restaurants and cafés, as well as bars and nightclubs. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, plus its own stretch of private, sandy beach. You can dine outdoors at the buffet restaurant, which offers a selection of international cuisine. The hotel is set in gently sloping gardens, dotted with palm trees, leafy plants and shrubs. The building is painted light in colour, with white balconies and a sun terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Bedrooms are neutrally decorated with wooden furnishings and artwork on display. They have patio doors leading onto a balcony or sun terrace. You can pick up holiday essentials at the hotel shop. At Holiday Village Sagitta, you can watch the evening entertainment, which often includes bingo, live music and karaoke. If you're feeling energetic, you can play basketball or football at the multi-sport pitch. Children can join the kids' club, which organises regular activities, including plays, games and treasure hunts. The hotel is a day trip from local attractions, including the seaside resort of Split, with its harbour and historic Old Town.
Holiday Village Sagitta is next to Sagitta Beach, where you can swim in the shallow water or stretch out on the sand. It's 7km from the centre of Omis, which is positioned at the mouth of a river. You can wander along the boat-lined waterfront or order drinks at an open-air café. Further afield, you can get the hotel shuttle bus to Split, where you'll be able to explore the modern areas and old quarters. You could also take a walk along the top of the ancient city walls, which offer views across the city to the ocean.
The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are two bars, including one at the beach. They offer a variety of local and international drinks, including cocktails, beer and wine, along with soft drinks and bottled water. You'll find snacks on offer too, including afternoon tea and cake.
You can join in a fitness class such as aerobics or aqua aerobics. Children can go to the kids' disco or watch the kids' entertainment.
Rooms at Holiday Village Sagitta have a kitchenette with a fridge freezer and hotplates. They all come with Wi-Fi and a TV with satellite channels.

Family holiday
We stayed in an apartment which is a little bit old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable, big advantage that has enough cupboard shelves for the clothes and everything. View is simple beautiful Sea is incredibly clear. As it's a rocky beach mainly with deep water it's mainly recommended for those who could swim. Staff are very friendly, food choice is very good. You could go to Omis by car (appr 6-7 km) or by bus. Split or Makarska also not so far. As it's located outside the city ideal for people who do not like the the crowded cities.
Old mutton in lamb clothes!
An old hotel, refurbished. I will start with the good things:IT is clean. The staff is ok-ish. The food-ok-ish. The wine was bad, the juice had the same taste, no matter the type. The open Air part of the restaurant was big, but most of IT was in the sun.Maybe some umbrellas would improve the guests'comfort. There was no music, which gave you the impression that You were having meal in a cheap rural restaurant. I think IT was not because people wanted to Hear the waves, because IT was a terrible noise from a hundred children screaming happily. IT was not that they lacked equipment either, because the only time when they played music was the half an hour minidisco when they played for children the same songs:Macarena, ducks in the lame and so on.The hotel îs situated in an isolated area, where You can not walk to any attraction, and the only entertainment was that. The beach actually îs not a beach, IT îs just the shore..rocks and pebbles on a very narrow path. No music, nothing. In conclusion this îs a hotel for family with children. And for those willing to drive every day, every night.
