Splash out at LD

Ready for the best dining Korcula has to offer? It’s no surprise that the finest hotel on Korčula (Lešić Dimitri) also houses the island’s finest restaurant: LD. Together, they fill an exquisite manor house dating back to the 1700s – although savvy diners will have booked a sea-facing table on the terrace, which is set on the Old Town’s sea wall.

As well as location, much thought is given to each combination of food and wine, with head chef Marko Gajski and head sommelier Dražen Matković pooling their impressive expertise into the daily selection and à la carte choice. Seasonal local produce, of course, leads the way.
