The Best of Nice at Night
With a beautiful seaside setting and plenty of delicious wine, there’s lots to keep you occupied on a night out in Nice.
Start your evening at one of the many beach clubs that line the Promenade des Anglais. Hi Beach is a great choice if you’re going away with the family, as it has a play area where the kids can have fun while you sip on a refreshing drink and watch the sun sink into the horizon.
If you want to spend some time surrounded by locals, head to Castel. There’s a causal yet sophisticated atmosphere, which sets it apart from other bars along the promenade.
Try some of the best wines that France has to offer by pulling up a chair at Cave Wilson, which was founded in 1904, or Cave de la Tour. With over 180 years of experience between the two, you’ll discover the depth of knowledge and passion for wine at these two spots as soon as you step inside.
If you love relaxed bars and live music, then head to Le Staccato. This spot is one of the best places in the south of France to see jazz and blues bands, and with drinks starting at €3, it’s also a great option if you’re travelling on a budget.
For dancing late into the night try the High Club. It can be hard to get past the door, so dress to impress. Once you’re inside you can strut your stuff on one of the three dance floors. Don’t arrive until after 1am though, as it’s usually deserted before then.
