Top of the Rock Observation Deck

See the iconic New York skyline from the best observation deck in the city, Top of the Rock. After stepping through the doors of the famous Rockefeller building and buying your tickets, a fascinating exhibit explains the history of the building before you step into the glass roofed elevator that takes you to the 67th floor.

Arriving at the Top of the Rock, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The indoor and outdoor observatory’s spread across three levels, and you’ll probably find around 45 minutes is enough to take pictures and spot New York’s most impressive sights, including Central Park, Times Square and the Empire State Building. A walk up the stairs to the 70th floor, the building’s rooftop, is well worth the effort, as you’re rewarded with amazing 360 degree views.

There’s no time limit to your experience, so once you’ve taken in the sights you can head back to the elevator at your own pace and continue your day with a visit to the world famous Rockefeller Center. Grab a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants, browse the shopping boutiques or go and see the attractions including the festive ice rink and the Rock MoMA.
