The 4 Best Bars and Nightclubs in Madrid
If you love going out then Madrid is a wonderful city for you to visit. It has a great energy and plenty going on across some fabulous venues, four of which we’ve highlighted here.
Start your evening at quirky Vaova. It’s a furniture shop during the day, then transforms into a cocktail bar at night. You can recline on antique furniture as you sip on a delicious drink and gaze around at the African-themed décor on the walls.
If you want to spend time in a Spanish taverna, pay a visit to El Lacón. Popular with a number of Madrid food tour groups, this spot is great for both eating and drinking. If you’re still hungry after dinner, you’ll be happy to know that you’ll get free tapas with every drink you buy.
As the time approaches 1am, head off to one of Madrid’s leading discotecas to dance the night away. If you’re looking for an alternative venue, then make your way to Ocho y Medio. Popular among local hipsters, it’s a great place to go for a dance. If you need a bit of a break, there are plenty of sofas in the upstairs lounge where you can recover.
Kapital is one of the biggest and best clubs in Madrid. You can explore seven floors of fun, and you’ll be hard pressed not to like at least one of them when it comes to the music. The largest dance floor, which has three bars and a fog machine, is on the first level, while there are karaoke booths on the upper floors and DJs playing all kinds of music.
