From Breakfast to Buffets: Dining on a Budget in Las Vegas
Las Vegas may be home to some of America’s most expensive restaurants, but there are plenty of options if you’re travelling on a budget.
Some of the best value can be found with buffets. Feast Buffet in nearby Henderson is a great option for breakfast at around $5 per plate, and if you stick around for dinner, its BBQ rib nights are popular and inexpensive.
On the Strip, the Circus Circus Buffet is your best bet, with the breakfast buffets starting at around $11 for kids and $18 for adults. With made to order omelettes and waffles, it’s a great place to have the most important meal of the day.
If you’re looking for a cheap lunch, try some Mexican at Tacos El Gordo. Serving authentic Mexican tacos, sopes and quesadillas, this spot’s great for sticking to your budget on the Strip. If you’re in the Fremont Street area, take a seat at the bar at Le Thai. Specialising in Thai noodle and rice dishes, you can feast on tasty Asian food for less than $20.
Ellis Island is your best option off the Strip, where you can get burgers, sandwiches and other dishes for less than $10. If you’re looking to enjoy a nice steak or a seafood main, you won’t pay more than $20.
If you want to splurge a bit, book a table at Honey Salt Restaurant. A farm-to-table establishment that sources its ingredients from organic suppliers, you’ll be surprised by how affordable it is. With mains reasonably priced between $24 and $36, you can have a wonderful meal that won’t break the bank.
