Best Nightclubs, Bars & Lounges In Dubai

There’s a wide selection of clubs, lounges and bars in Dubai, and if you’re only there for a short time you’ve got some difficult decisions to make. All this choice means there’s something for every style and mood, so to help you decide, have a read of our guide to the best nightlife in Dubai.

Best for beautiful views.

For drinks with a view, the Burj Al Arab’s Skyview Bar is one of the most interesting and exciting places you could choose. It’s on floor 27 of the iconic hotel and offers all sorts of cocktails from modern classics to innovative flavours created by expert mixologists.

Go early in the evening and you can try the afternoon tea while gazing out over Dubai and the Palm Jumeirah, before enjoying a drink as the sun goes down. The Skyview bar is open to guests aged 21 and over from 7pm to 1am, and the smart dress code gives you the chance to show off your most glamorous outfits.

For views of the sea, one of the best bars in Dubai is The Bahri Bar at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel. It’s the perfect spot for you to sip on a sundowner cocktail and share some delicious mezze. From here you can watch the Burj Al Arab’s light show in the distance, and admire the beaches, waterways, and verandas in the foreground.

After sunset, jazz and soul music continues the chilled out feel. The Bahri Bar is open for guests aged over 21 from 4pm to 2am Saturday to Wednesday, and 4pm to 3am Thursday and Friday.

Best for pub goers

If a relaxed pub is more your thing then the Irish Village is the most authentic Irish experience you’ll find in Dubai. It’s very popular with local ex-pats so if you’re craving a taste of home you’ll find it here, thanks to the pub grub, beer garden, and the chance to catch up on your favourite sports fixtures.

Whichever of the branches you visit, you’ll find some of the best nightlife in Dubai, with live music, good food and a buzzy atmosphere. The Irish Village is open from 4pm until late, and it’s a casual dress code.

Elsewhere at the themed Belgian Beer Café, you’ll find some of the most interesting beers in the UAE, all served in  proper glasses. You can enjoy classic Belgian dishes too, like moules-frites, waffles, and Witloof Salad, all enjoyed while overlooking Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah.

The Belgian Beer Café is open from 12pm to 2am Saturday to Wednesday and 12pm to 3am Thursday and Friday.

Best for clubbers

When the time comes to head to a club, you’ll find lots of choices. Some of the best clubs in Dubai are in the Meydan area, as well as a few in other key spots around the city.

If you’re looking for a super club with a huge dancefloor, White Dubai is the place to go. It’s set over tiered levels around a circular bar and attracts all types of clubbers. It’s got a fair share of glamour but still has a fun atmosphere. Music includes chart hits and classic beats so there’s something to get most people dancing. It’s open from 11pm to 3am and you’ll find it in the Meydan Hotel.

For a glamorous night spot, you can’t beat the Cavalli Club with its Swarovski chandeliers and animal print booths. For a complete Cavalli experience, we recommend starting your night with dinner (it’s best to book ahead) and watching as the room transforms from a sophisticated restaurant to full-on club. Cavalli is open from 9pm to 3am every night and you’ll find it on Sheikh Zayed Road.

At the top of Raffles Hotel you’ll find People by Crystal, which is the ideal place to show off your most glamorous gear and mix with the sophisticates of the Dubai social scene. If you’re looking for loud music and lots of people, this is one of the best clubs in Dubai.

For a completely different approach to Dubai club scene, you’ll enjoy Zero Gravity. It’s right on the beach and has a more relaxed feel. There are pool bars, chilled out lounges, and rooms with top DJs, all overlooking the bright lights of Dubai Marina. You’ll find great offers too, like Night Inc. which offers unlimited street food, great drinks, ping pong, and a fairground all for a single entry price.

Zero Gravity is open until 2am every day and it’s perfectly placed at Dubai Marina. Email ahead to get on the guest list and you’ll even get a goody bag when you leave.

Best for something different

As well as all the pubs and clubs, Dubai nightlife has lots of quirky places to go. If you’re near Jumeirah Beach area, there’s Stereo Arcade, a hip NYC style pub with neon lights and arcade machines. It’s got regular deals and has club nights on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week. Graffitied walls and interesting art gives the bar a creative edge and it stands out from the rest of the venues in the area. It’s open from 6pm to 3am and you’ll find it in Jumeirah Beach Residence.

In the Palace Downtown you’ll find one of the best lounges in Dubai. At the Ewaan Lounge you can indulge in mezze, desserts, and drinks, all in your own Arabian style tent at the edge of a pretty pool. Ewaan Lounge is open from 1pm to 2am and is in the downtown area of Dubai.

At the Chillout Ice Lounge, the whole bar’s made from ice. You’ll see stunning sculptures, sit at ice tables, and relax under cool-hued lighting. It’s so unusual it’s fast becoming one of the best bars in Dubai, especially if you’re looking for something different.

Chillout Ice Lounge serves soups, hot chocolate, and mocktails as well as sandwiches and desserts so you can almost imagine you’re in your favourite Alpine resort. It’s open 10am to 10pm Saturday to Wednesday and 10am to 12am Thursday and Friday, and you’ll find it in the Times Square Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road.
