Best Lounges or Bars

Don’t miss the Jetty Lounge while you’re in Dubai. Sitting on the beach it’s great for sunsets, but is popular all night long thanks to the romantic bar which turns into a fun nightclub once the sun goes down. There are tables on the sand and you can gaze out across the sea while sipping on a delicious cocktail.

If you prefer more of a bird’s eye view, the rooftop lounge up at 40 Kong is the highest in the city. It’s on the 40th floor of the H Hotel, and you can sit at the bar and enjoy views across the city as you have a drink.

For somewhere a little more casual, Garden on 8 has picnic benches on fake grass under a large sail for sun protection. The informal atmosphere is quite rare for Dubai, as is the fact the bar is made from recycled materials and they serve up English-style fish and chips with a side of ale.

You can’t go to Dubai without visiting the Palm Jumeirah. The man-made islands are home to hotels, shopping malls, and the Palm Views West Bar. You can sip on sangria as you relax in Mediterranean-style surrounds, watching the sun go down over the water.

There are lots of great selfie spots across the city, but one of the best has to be the Edge Pool and Bar at the Hilton Dubai Creek. There’s a stunning rooftop pool, which is perfect for cocktails and skyline selfies. If you want to go somewhere that’s really going to impress on your final night, go to the Siddharta Lounge at the Grosvenor Hotel’s Buddah Bar. Expect red walls, golden chandeliers and incredible views to complement one of the most extensive drinks lists you’ve ever seen.
