What is the weather like in Tobago?

Tobago is sunny all year round, with average temperatures in the high 20s. This small island has two distinct seasons: the Dry season (December to May) and the Rainy season (June-November) – the rain tends to fall during the night and with sudden outbursts, however even in the daytime this is a welcome break from the heat.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

The tap water is chlorinated and generally considered safe to drink, however as with all destinations abroad, we recommend that you drink bottled water to avoid any unwanted upsets.

What food should I try when I visit?

Dine with the locals and enjoy popular dishes like callaloo (a soup made from coconut milk and either crab, pork or beef), or arepas (spicy patties filled with meat or chicken. A favourite at breakfast time is buljol (coconut cakes) or doubles (a fried pasty filled with curried chickpeas).
