The hottest season is between December and April, with warm highs of 30°C. The sea is warm all year with an average temperature of 27°C that’s ideal for swimming and taking part in water sports.
Sunshine hours increase in spring to ten hours a day in March and April. The driest month of the year is in April, which is the best time to visit if you want to avoid as much rain as possible. It has just 27mm of rain spread over three days of the month, so you can enjoy your time away on the beach and exploring Cancun without the threat of rain or thunderstorms.
