Babalu

Babalu is on the south-west coast of the island of Gran Canaria, Spain. It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is in a popular area, a short drive from Puerto Rico and is within walking distance of a golf course as well as the nearest shopping centre for souvenirs, food and clothes. The hotel is a short walk from Playa de Amadores, a sandy stretch of coastline where you can swim or snorkel. The hotel has two outdoor pools and a terrace dotted with tropical palm trees, and there are plenty of places for you to relax in the sunshine or the shade. There's a 24-hour reception and high-speed Wi-Fi is also available throughout the hotel. Babalu has a mini market where you can pick up daily essentials. If you like to stay active, you can play football on the multi-sports court, and there's also a pool table. Puerto Rico is the area immediately around the hotel. Formerly a small fishing village, it's now a favourite holiday destination because of its sandy beach and scenic location. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants for you to explore. There are also family-friendly theme parks and water parks within driving distance of the hotel.

Babalu Apartamentos is 1.7km from the beach and Playa de Amadores. It's also 200m from Europa Centre, a shopping centre where you can eat, drink and shop. For more choice of shops, bars and restaurants, you can walk into Puerto Rico centre which is 3km away. If you want to play golf, you can visit the Amfi Golf Course which is 1.4km away. A little further away at 5km is Mogan Port, where there's another sandy beach and a harbour, as well as waterways that have given it the nickname 'the Venice of the Canaries'.

Babalu Apartamentos has a pool bar where you can get drinks from morning until late. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. In the room you can make your own meals on the electric hotplate, and there's also a toaster and a microwave.
