No more then a 2* - disappointing

Stayed here late July for a much needed break. I was expecting it to be very quiet due to the COVID issues. On arrival I was checked in straight away despite around at mid day (2 hours before check in time). I did contact the reception 2 weeks earlier to request a room on a high floor as I prefer the views and the higher up usually means less noise. I was disappointed when I was allocated a room on the ground floor. Receptionist was friendly, English speaking and explained things well. I was not asked to pay any deposit on the room. The room itself was basic. There was no air con or fan. Two single beds which I pushed together to make a double. The room was spacious but could probably do with a lick of paint for some character. The kitchen was equipped with everything expected for a self catering holiday. All in all the room was clean and tidy. The beds however were rock hard and very uncomfortable. There was a small balcony with table and chairs. I struggled sleeping the first night due to the heat and no breeze. I complained to reception the next morning and asked to change to a room with air con. Apparently they were unable to do this however did bring a fan to my room. I was disappointed that the pool area was closed and they were digging around it. When it’s peak summer season I would of expected a working pool area. I was not informed about this prior to booking or arriving. The hotel has a room terrace with a few sun beds but not many. The views from here are stunning. However be warned there is no shade. Location wise it’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes from the Yumbo centre. The apartments is literally across the road from the Kasbah nightclub area and another shopping centre. I probably would not stay here again. It is a 2* at best. Location wise is very good but I just wasn’t taken in by the apartments at all

Good localization. Near to the beach. Directly by the pool. Value for money very good, friendly staff. Terrace with a place for naturists, from which you can enjoy wonderful views of the ocean and the famous Maspalomas dunes. We had a great vacation on the beach and by the pool.

Great value

We had a lovely refurbished Appartment on the 5th floor with lovely sunsets and plenty of space. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we would recommend this hotel for Naturists as it has a wonderful roof terrace.
