There is no direct service from Sofia to Borovets, however a bus/minibus departs Sofia south bus station (Avtogara Yug) for Samokov bus station every 30 minutes (a journey of approx. one hour). From there a van operates to Borovets every 30 minutes and stops in front of Hotel Samokov. The return journey by van to Samokov picks up in front of Hotel Ela, Borovets.
