The Santo Tomás Hotel is right on the sea promenade in the quiet residential area of Santo Tomás, located on the south coast of the island of Minorca. It is just 25 km from the airport and one of the main two towns (Maó and Ciutadella). The nearest town, Es Migjorn Gran, is just 4 km away. Its superior four star hotel quality and variety of amenities, in one of the most beautiful spots in Minorca, make the hotel an excellent choice for relaxing holidays.The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam bath, massage and treatment cabins, bar cafeteria, buffet restaurant and a barbeque restaurant on the seaside. The garden has an enjoyable swimming pool and terrace with excellent views of the beach.

Beautiful hotel

We stayed for 10 days at the Santo Tomas Hotel and were impressed from the minute we walked through the door. We were given an extremely warm welcome by Alex on reception, offered a glass of champagne and our luggage was stored away as we arrived in the morning prior to our rooms being ready. We were staying with our 2 children and had booked two twin rooms with a sea view. We were given a free upgrade and stayed in a sea view suite and a beach suite for the first 2 nights - and then moved to a superior room with the most amazing sea view, with our second room in the same corridor. The sea view suite was amazing - it had a wraparound balcony with stunning views from all sides. Rooms - All the rooms we stayed in were clean, with modern bathrooms with powerful waterfall showers, a fridge and safe. If you book a seaview room I struggle to see how you could have a bad view, as the sea almost wraps around the hotel - the views are stunning. Food - We stayed half board and found the food of a high standard with plenty of variety. At breakfast there is a good selection of hot and cold options, with a chef station also making fresh pancakes and omelettes. You can have fresh juices and tea/coffee with your breakfast. At dinner there was a broad selection of options, again with a chef station cooking fresh meat, fish and pasta. We didn't get bored over the 10 days as there was lots of variety and it was always fresh, hot and tasty! As our daughter has a nut allergy they were very attentive, with Juan Ramon the restaurant manager bringing the Head Chef out each day to talk us through which dishes were safe to eat - it was extremely reassuring. Just spent 6 nights there and enjoyed every minute. Spotless, really friendly and helpful staff, and plentiful food. The beach is also amazing and we enjoyed the walks along the sea. Definitely recommend this place.

Great hotel, great location & great team

Our first holiday at Santo Tomas hotel. We usually stay at the Nelson but saw this hotel and felt looked more us, read the reviews and thought yes. On arrival at around 11;45pm shattered after traveling all day we had a lovely welcome. Was checked in speedily and offered a glass of welcome cava. This was a nice touch. We were then shown to the dining area for something to eat, lovely prepared plates of cheese, meats and fruit, just what we needed. We went to our room 204. First impression was wow, light, and decorated lovely. Good size room with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in the EU! Wardrobe large too. Nice balcony facing out to sea view fantastic. A complimentary bottle of water was provided. The rooms are very quiet. The shower was a large walk in one with a large rain shower, again perfect and always had hot water. There are some lovely ECO products provided, shampoo, body milk and shower gel great quality products. The only complaint I have is on the right side wall in the bathroom by sink is a dead insect was there on arrival and stayed for the whole stay, I showed it to cleaner many times but it stayed!!! It is most likely still there! The restaurant was light, very clean with an option to sit outside. Many sparrows visit you whilst eating beware if you leave your bread on the table lol they do try to take some. The food is excellent, great quality cuts of meat and fish. Plenty of choice mixed over the days. Breakfast is great again a good selection. All staff are fantastic, Juan, Joanna, Jonny, a few to mention but truly ALL of them are amazing and work extremely hard. It is also nice to have linen on the tables gives it a classy touch. The pool area, gardens are kept neat and tidy, with plenty of sun-beds and room around them, we didn’t struggle at all to get a bed. The pool is lovely and clean and salt water be careful getting out shower off or you will burn quickly! Only point to make here is the white grids around the pool where turning black and smelly at end of stay need a clean. The Malibu restaurant attached to hotel, great for lunch, menu varied and excellent food although could do with a simple light baguette for small eaters. Staff here again accommodating, always ensure you get a table as always busy at lunchtimes, some reserve a table as locals and other holiday makers dine here. Great staff Francesca, Christina, Vanessa, Ronald, Juan and Joanna just a few to mention brilliant hardworking team. Thank you … All in all this is a great hotel and will return one day. Location is perfect right on the beach with great staff.
