Lovely hotel
A lovely hotel in a very small and quiet resort. The food was really good and cleanliness of the whole hotel was superb, all staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at 9.30am and were given our room straight away.
Spectacular hotel with amazing views
Got to be honest, I was really sceptical before coming here. Being end of season previous experiences at other destinations left me feeling disappointed but if your one for reading reviews to determine whether to visit or not, I hope this will help. I travel 2 - 3 times a year and many resorts we’ve visited we’ve been let down by either the food or the hotel, staff or faculties but this place was amazing!!! The setting and it’s location is stunning. We had a sea view overlooking the cove which is a view I would never get bored of seeing. The room was a tad on the small side for a family of 4 consisting of a cot but with a little improvising we made it work. The room was clean and well maintained and bedding and towels changed daily. The bed was comfy enough and with enough pillows I found myself getting a decent night sleep. The shower was huge with a large shower head which for me really was an enjoyable experience as many showers in hotels Iv visited have been pathetic, tiny and inadequate. The only criticism is that there is no air conditioning. There is a fan on the ceiling and a built in fan which didn’t really blow out much cold air and with the weather we had, it was incredibly hot and at times uncomfortable. No Al la carte restaurants but the main restaurant and pool bar restaurant had a good selection of food daily. The food wasn’t repetitive, it was always hot and rotated regular and was always fresh but for an all inclusive, the food was some the best Iv ever had in an all inclusive resort. There was entertainment every night. The bar fills up quick and service at the bar could have been improved with long wait for drinks. Perhaps a couple more bar staff would sort this problem. I only ever saw two bar men serving at once but also Only being allowed two drinks at a time is frustrating but other than this Every evening was superb with a good variety of entertainment. The pools are cold and contain salt water but the pool environment, pool bar and it’s picturesque settings are phenomenal and sitting around the pool taking in the sights are a must. The hotel facilities are clean, well maintained and plentiful. This place has an 18 hole crazy golf course. The views from this course are amazing. Well worth a game just for the views. This unfortunately isn’t free to play. Cost €2.50 for each player so a little expensive considering it was meant to be all inclusive but I’d have paid that just for the view. There is also shop and a supermarket on site. Locally, there are a few bars and restaurants and a couple of shops. Unfortunately because we travelled at the end of the season we wasn’t able to experience them. I’d give this place a 10 / 10 despite a few little things. The hotel is spectacular, amazing views. Such a relaxed atmosphere and I really enjoyed every minute of it and would definitely return.
Going back!
Had a lovely holiday. Staff amazing and helpful, food brilliant with loads of choice. Everywhere clean. Bus stop right outside the hotel running from early morning til late at night. Sister hotel up the road which can be used as well. Loved Cala Blanca hotel due to its size. Patrons lovely spoke to so many wonderful guests.
