Nice and clean, rooms fairly basic but have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Staff friendly, especially one lady who worked the bar most days nothing too much trouble and always had a smile

Just back from a fantastic stay here. Couldn't fault anything. Staff were really helpful, pool area great and rooms spotless. Bar area also really good. Location is perfect, 2 mins walk to beach. Not sure what else you would want from a hotel. Highly recommended

Not enough sunbeds!

We have been coming to the Maracaibo since 2013. What a gem. The apartments are spotless and the staff always pleasant and you never struggled to get a sunbed. Unfortunately this year that was not the case. There were nowhere near enough sunbeds for the amount of guests. We also had people coming in off the street using the pool area which didn't help matters. When we asked about the sunbeds we were told that a lot had been broken and just not replaced? We resorted to that horrible nightmare of having to get up at a ridiculous hour to make sure you got a sunbed! Not really what we wanted and have never had to before. I think we may give it a miss next year.
