THB Guya Playa

THB Guya Playa Aparthotel is a family-friendly apartment hotel on the eastern tip of the Spanish Balearic Island of Majorca. It's in a quiet area close to the centre of the resort of Cala Ratjada, and is walking distance to sandy Cala Agulla beach. The hotel's pool area has a main swimming pool and a separate, shallow children's pool. It's surrounded by a sun terrace that looks out over the sea, where you can relax and enjoy the view with a drink from the poolside bar. There's also a second pool indoors in the spa, where you can book yourself in for treatments such as a massage, or unwind in the whirlpool, steam room or sauna. Alternatively, you can work out in the gym, or take part in some of the organised activities such as aqua aerobics or Zumba. In the evenings, the hotel puts on live entertainment or arranges film screenings. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, with a range of cuisine on offer. Apartments all come with kitchenettes and indoor dining areas, so you can cook up simple meals and enjoy them as a group. You'll also find plenty of options for eating and drinking within a short walk of the hotel.

The centre of Cala Ratjada resort is 400m from the hotel, and Cala Agulla Beach is also a 400m walk away. The resort has quiet bays where you can sunbathe or swim in the sea, as well as plenty of places to eat and drink, with busier tourist spots in the centre of town. You can drive to the capital, Palma, on the opposite side of the island, for a day trip to explore the history and culture of Majorca. In the Old Town you'll find traditional architecture, squares lined with cafÈs and restaurants, and markets where you can pick up souvenirs and local produce.

The hotel has a pool bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks until late, and a buffet restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to use the kitchenette in your room, which includes hot plates and a fridge, the nearest supermarket is a 300m walk away.

There's a kids' club for ages 4 to 12 (under 4s are welcome when accompanied by an adult). Children can also enjoy the playroom and playground.
