We stayed here for 10 nights, ill start with the good points first- the staff were nice & friendly the animation team work extremely hard, the little splash park was lovely my youngest loved that, snack bar good with plenty choice of drinks slushes, juice, fizzy pop, tea, coffee & milkshake & they do chips, burgers & hotdogs, a lovely little small beach is just across the road, we had a ground floor apartment which was nice & modern with a fridge & tv in livingroom & bedroom. Now the bad points- our apartment was infested with ants all around the patio doors coming through the skirting boards & from under the fridge we did get some ant spray from reception which helped a little but they would be back again the next day & really not good when we woke in the morning to my little boy having bites on his head ( which were ant bites not mozzie bites we know the difference) so in the end he just slept in the bedroom with us as they didn't seem to be in there. The main pool had like a film on top of the water & always had bits of rubbish or leaves floating in it, the food was terrible we mostly just ate from the snack bar as it was a bit better. Unfortunately we wouldn't return

Couldn’t fault it! We arrived late at night after a slight delay and a 2 hour transfer to very polite and helpful staff who checked us in quickly and gave us each a bag with a sandwich, water and fruit. Rooms were basic but clean and had everything we needed. Had an issue with the air con and it was sorted immediately. Pool area was great. Big pool very deep but kids loved it. 2 kids pools also fab. Beach is two mins out the front of the hotel. Food was fresh, and plentiful. Always a variety of salads and other dishes - Chinese night one night and also sushi. Got busier through the week - maybe get to meal times towards the start of the slot - may be a bit quieter. Drinks were great, Estrella on tap, local spirits and cocktails. Juice, water, pop and slushes for the kids. Pay €1 deposit for cup which you keep for the duration of your stay - saves so much waste, a great idea! All the staff were super helpful and friendly. Entertainment staff great, huge effort into shows and keeping kids happy. Lots of family things round the pool too - olympics, water polo, yoga, aqua aerobics etc. Small shop on site, bank machine inside reception and pool towels available to hire for €10 deposit each. Can change every 2 days! We had a wonderful break. My only gripe was the subbed situation. This was down to the holiday makers and no one else. Literally keeping towels on the beds the whole week. The hotel should really remove them all during the night as it was getting quite territorial. Other than that I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you want 4* or 5* pay for it - but this hotel provides everything and more you need for a great value holiday.

I have just returned from my 10 day holiday. I’m not sure what people expect from a fairly cheap 3 star but it ticked all the boxes for my family of 5. The complaints about the food are nonsense, lovely fresh salads everyday, build your own salad option, fresh meat cooked live, lots of options for the kids. I’m not sure what these people eat at home (probably microwave meals) but if you want a fresh healthy meals then this was perfect. There wasn’t the biggest selection, however, these was always something nice to eat. The rooms were tired and old, ours was cleaned daily, but you don’t go on holiday to sit in your room? For a 3 star it was as expected. The entertainment team worked really hard, we all loved the shows, they were on a little late, but we all enjoyed. Mario and Brian were class. The pool area wasn’t the cleanest, I’ve been at hotels where they stack all the beds and hose the entire area. This didn’t seem to happen. That said , it was as expected. I must admit, the one thing that frustrated me was the towel situation, I fully understand that you need to get up early (0700) to get a decent bed, but people leaving their towels and floats out over night is lazy and not fair. It got worse as we were leaving, and to be honest it was all groups of Brits. It was nicer the first 6 or so days when there were less Brits (I am British). The location was beautiful with a lovely beach and town a few minutes walk. Overall this was well worth the price we paid for a 3 start hotel. Those that moan need to visit a British 3 star in Blackpool and realise the difference. This was fine. If you want better, cleaner and fillet steak every night, then pay more for a better hotel.
