Zafiro Ca'n Picafort is a family-friendly hotel on the western coast of Majorca, Spain. It's a short walk to the beach, which stretches all the way north up the coast to the port town of Alcudia. Zafiro Ca'n Picafort has two outdoor swimming pools in an area lined with palm trees, and three children's pools, one of which has a pirate ship set in the middle. There are also slides and other water activities to keep kids entertained. If you want to swim in the shade, there's an indoor pool with a whirlpool. There's also a sauna, and you can book a massage. The hotel has a gym if you fancy a workout. There are several activities to try, including pool and mini golf. The hotel puts on family entertainment which usually includes shows. The hotel is steps away from the centre of Can Picafort, with a number of shops and supermarkets selling holiday essentials and souvenirs. The beach area is lined with bars, restaurants and clubs, so you can dine out with an ocean view or dance the night away.
The beach is 800m from Zafiro Can Picafort and is one of the main attractions of the town. The resort centre is 500m away. The tourist town of Alcudia is at the opposite end of the long beach to the north, within driving distance of the hotel. It's home to a number of attractions, including a golf course and water park. Alcudia also retains much of its old charm, with cobblestoned streets and several buildings that recall its history dating back to medieval times. There are several well-preserved buildings from the Roman era, including the remains of the city Pollentia, which has a solid rock amphitheatre.
Zafiro Can Picafort has a buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's also an a la carte restaurant and a cafe serving sandwiches and cookies. You can enjoy a range of refreshing drinks at the hotel's two bars, one of which is by the pool.
The hotel has a kids' club for children aged 4 to 12, and an outdoor playground set in a garden with an adventure climbing frame and slides.
The hotel has a separate pool area for children with both pirate ship and water slides.
The rooms each have a balcony or terrace to relax on. They come with air conditioning, a fridge, satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Great Family October Break
We were a family of four (kids of 9 and 6) staying during October half term in a swim up room. Booked through Jet2. Overall just a great holiday. This is a lovely low rise hotel on a big footprint of gardens - so much nicer than all the other ones our bus dropped other people off at in Alcudia. Pools are amazing, the rooms are spacious, and all the facilities were well kept. The swim up room was great, well worth paying for. We were all inclusive which worked out well - loads of choice and the quality of food and drink was as good as anywhere I've stayed on AI. The poolside cafe is a nice touch - serving pizzas/burgers etc without the need to dress and go in the big restaurant. The pools were a bit cold (October) but the kids didn't mind - certainly didnt need wetsuits or anything The beach in the town is lovely - it is a 10 minute walk. There is also a tourist train which does a lap of the resort for a few euros. The only downside I would say to the hotel is that if you want to be amongst the bars/bustle then this isn't for you. Otherwise this is a fab family hotel with lovely staff and you wont regret booking it. One thing I would do if returning is book a private transfer from the airport - for the sake of £60 you might as well. el
Stay here!!!!
I could not rate this hotel complex highly enough. Extremely family friendly, immaculately kept and beyond ideal. Walking distance to main centre of C'an Picafort but far enough away to offer some peace. I would return tomorrow if I could! Beds so comfortable! Staff so friendly! And a great first holiday experience for our children.... unbelievable!
Relaxed vibe
Beautiful hotel and grounds. All the staff were helpful, friendly and went the extra mile to get us what we wanted. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. The big attraction for the kids was the "Wet Bubble" in one of the pools. It is like a bouncy castle in the pool so the kids loved it!
