Love a hotel with the classic Balearic look? With whitewashed buildings reflecting the sun and interiors that are beautifully light and airy, Exagon Park could be right up your street! You’ll find this treat of a getaway amongst the pines near Ca’n Picafort, which is on a secluded bay in the northeast of Majorca. And that means you’re close to one of the island’s best beaches - the turquoise water and sandy shoreline of Son Baulo are just a short, scenic walk away.

You won’t even have to take a stroll to dose up on that balmy Mediterranean summer weather. Choose your perfect spot at Exagon Park’s outdoor swimming pool, complete with a separate shallow zone for kids. With the luxury of sunlounger waiter service, you’ll be able to cool down with cocktails and ice creams from the poolside snack bar without moving a muscle. International alcohol brands are available.

When it comes to meals, fill your plate with favourites from around the world at the buffet restaurant. Theme nights include Spanish, Majorcan and Mexican, plus there are child-friendly options every day.

Alternatively, make your way into the resort centre; it’s around 2.2km away, and is full of restaurants, cafes and bars. A great place to soak up Majorca’s laid-back atmosphere! If you’re in need of after-dinner entertainment, check out the karaoke joints and live music venues. There’s a fun vibe at the hotel too, with kids’ discos and family-friendly shows to help the evening sparkle.

Looking for a little extra wow factor? You’re going to love the views from Exagon Park’s rooftop terrace, across the gardens to the Med. And the spa, with its indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and massage centre, is pure bliss!

More into active holidays? There’s plenty going on here, whether you’re a fan of games like billiards and table tennis, fitness like aerobics and aqua aerobics or the fun of archery, tennis and volleyball. You can even arrange bike hire at the 24-hour reception desk.

Of course, this child-friendly hotel has all sorts for the kiddies to enjoy, with activities for 4-12 year olds at the mini club. And as Ca’n Picafort’s a top location for families, your little adventurers can look forward to everything from playgrounds to go-karts when you’re out and about.

Whether or not you’re here on a family holiday, Majorca’s an amazing island to explore, so hire a car or hop on a bus and head further afield. Bucket list highlights include the beautiful island capital Palma (approx 62km away) and the famous Drach Caves (approx 43km), where you can see stunning stalagmites and stalactites and take a boat trip on Europe's largest subterranean lake. Don’t miss the chance to dine there while a live orchestra provides the soundtrack!

Plus, with a choice of room types across five floors you can unpack in a space that suits you. Whether you opt for a double room (with or without sea view), single room or family room, you’ll have air conditioning/heating, WiFi and a satellite TV, mini fridge, phone, safe, hairdryer, bathroom (with bath and shower) and a balcony. Cots, different pillows, bathrobes and kettles are also available for no extra charge.

Other services include currency exchange, luggage storage, a shop, a hairdresser’s and a car park.

Bonus Holiday at Exagon

Reception and Bar staff were great. Food, particularly breakfast was very good. Rooms spotlessly clean. Only slight complaint relates to the 2 older gents doing the meal drinks, they were very unfriendly

Exactly what I was looking for!

I chose Exagon Park due to the reviews of other solo travellers and the lush green location. I was looking for a relaxing, all inclusive break in beautiful surroundings and with some evening entertainment thrown in so I didn’t feel isolated. I booked via Tui and although the hotel was the last stop on the airport transfer coach, I was glad when I arrived that I had chosen somewhere with space and lined with trees (other hotels on the transfer route were more of a concrete jungle). The beach was a short, riverside walk away (less than 10 minutes) and the town of Can Picafort with it’s shops, bars, restaurants and clubs begins just beyond this. My room was great; a huge double bed (twins linked together but with no annoying gap), clean and large bathroom with hairdryer, table and comfortable chair, basic British TV channels and a small balcony with table and chairs. I knew in advance that there were no hot drink facilities in the room so as a lover of tea I had bought my own travel kettle. I purchased milk easily in town and used the mini fridge in room to keep it cool. My only gripe in the room would be that there was only one spare plug socket which was near the balcony doors, however my converter plug has a number of USB ports so it wasn’t a major issue. The pool area was well spread out with sun beds under grass parasols and trees, as well as in the full sun. Drinks and snacks were served all day at the pool bar. The water in the pool was cold, but refreshing on sunnier days. There was also an indoor pool for those wanting to take a swim in warmer water. Food and drinks were as you might expect from an all inclusive offering. Plenty of choice of hot, fresh food at all meals, plus breads, cheeses, meats and salad, and pastries and desserts etc. There was a good selection of drinks including beer (Estrella), wines, spirits and cocktails. International spirits such as Jack Daniel’s (my favourite!) were available for a small charge, however all inclusive the Caipirinhas were delicious so I was placated! The barmen Paco, Jesus, Toni and Jose looked after all of the guests extremely well. Muchos gracias! Evening entertainment was a little cheesy but good fun. We had singers of various styles and a circus act (very funny!) on the nights I stayed in the hotel. I didn’t feel uncomfortable being a lone traveller and although not many of the guests during my stay were English, the German guests in particular were quick to ask me to join their tables. All in all, this was just the break that I needed. Stress free and in comfortable surroundings, with all my needs catered for!

this hotel is lovely.

I stayed on my own in room floor over looking the tennis courts. the room was spotlessly clean and a very good size with 2 singing beds in. ican honestly say apart from a local residents dog barking all night I never heard a thing. no doors banging, no kids running up and down the corridor. the hallways and stairs are carpeted so no clumping noise.the food is hot and I never had the same thing once in a week, so plenty to choose thing I would change is definitely more coffee machines as the que at breakfast got a bit annoying after a few days. the waiter's are kind and helpful and work there socks off , the beach is literally a 5 minute stroll away past a stream with ducks on, it's beautiful. one thing I would say is the bar on the beach is a mega rip off..5 euros for a small orange juice. so Don't waist your money in there. the town is a 10 minute walk away or you can jump on the land train. 4 euros per adult and 2 for children, this price includes a return, as long as you keep hold of your ticket. this takes you right down the other end of can picafort and the best beach. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
