Brilliant hotel friendly helpful staff, hotel was very clean and house keeping came every day with fresh towels(if needed) and bed made daily. The hotel is so close to universal with 10 minute walk (busy road) but we walked there every time with no problem at all, there is a safe point to cross. But the hotel does have shuttle cars and taxis to use. The pool isn't that big but clean with free towels and bar. Hotel Food is very good but a bit expensive, but there is a pizza/sandwich bar on site which is much cheaper lovely pizzas, there are other restaurants and bars near by and a supermarket. i would recommend this hotel ideal for families and couples.

Great Hotel, customer service was brilliant, transport to all Disney Parks and "others" brilliant. Food in Hotel was a bit repetative, but being able to eat in any Disney location meant there was plenty of choice. We had just the most fantastic time and don't want to go anywhere else - EVER.

We love this resort, nothing is too far away. The resort is beautifully themed but not 'in your face' Disney but doesnt lose any of the Disney magic at the same time. You can use the facilities at Riverside too. The buses to the park are regular although some services are shared with Riverside so the buses can get pretty full. There is also a boat service to Downtown Disney which is lovely and tranquil. The pool at the French Quarter has a slide which the children all love plus during the afternoon there are organised pool games as well as nightly movie shown. There are plenty of lifeguards on duty. The food court has plenty of options - we had the Disney Dining Plan which is excellent, with this we also had a resort mug which gives you unlimited soft drinks, tea etc at your hotel (plus you can use it up at Riverside). We did use the counter service at Riverside which has different options and this was lovely too.

It was like stepping back in time to the days of the deep south and Gone with the Wind - Marvellous. We asked for adjoining rooms with our daughter, her husband and their two children - overall a pleasant surprise - the rooms were a bit dull BUT were very well fitted out - 2 Queen size beds, his and her sinks in both rooms, 40" flat screen TV etc. - all the fittings were in A1 condition and the exceptional daily maid service make sure they stay that way. We stayed in room 9025 in the Oak Manor part of the resort, Disney films were screened each night at 8.30pm on the lawn some 100 yards from our rooms (towels to sit on and free popcorn) with a pool (& laundry) no more than 200 yard away and the East depot bus stop some 300 yards away = a perfect location. The resort reception, dining area, food courts, bar, main pool and many more facilities were only a 6 to 7 minute stroll away over one of the many bridges over the waterway which surround this amazing Disney resort. We were part of the Disney quick service dining plan - we did not use all the meals (we tried our best - just too much) and we only just managed to use the snacks (on the final morning) - great value for money - this meant you could eat and snack at all the Disney parks, Downtown Disney & the two waterparks - overall the holiday was fantastic, fantastic value. fantastic service by all the staff at ALL locations - nothing was too much trouble for them. If we could go back tomorrow we ALL would. We haved started to save for our next visit - CAN'T WAIT.

We had a wonderful family Disney holiday based at Port Orleans, Riverside. A beautiful setting. Calm and relaxing after a hectic day in the parks. A great pool for the children to play in. Room was kept very clean and tidy. Good choice of food available. Cant fault it. Friendly staff. So much to do when not visiting the parks. Children loved hiring the boats and sailing off to Downtown Disney. The water taxi's are fun and a lovely alternative to travelling on the buses. Wouldnt hesitate in returning.
