Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a week at the Paloma Club Sultan in Turkey. Where do I start, the staff wow, I have never met such attentive staff in my life. The waiters were all so attentive and friendly and tried to serve you as quickly as possible, they were always friendly and polite and tried to help with whatever they could. The animation team was absolutely fantastic, they knew us by name and really made our holiday more enjoyable. I highly recommend parasailing and Aqua biking! The pools are lovely, so so clean and the perfect temperature. We stayed by the infinity pool most the week, although it was fairly busy we never once struggled for seats and even going down at 11 could get seats next to the pool. The beaches were also both lovely and clean and the water was beautiful, crystal clear. The activities you can do I highly recommend, we went kayaking and used the pedalo (free of charge) as well as paying for parasailing and jet ski hire. The food was brilliant, breakfast is a choice of cereal, toasties, fruit as well as a selection of hot food. We then went to the snack bar every day near the infinity pool, there they serve pizza, burgers, waffles, ice creams, jacket potatoes and wraps. Dinner we always found something to eat and enjoy and we are both quite fussy! They have chicken every day, plain pasta every day as well as a huge variety of other things. We also visited the Italian restaurant and wow is all I can say. The food has to be the best I have ever tasted and the service was incredible. We had a lovely view and you sit watching the sea and the sunset. After dinner we went to the sunset bar (a cocktail bar for 18yrs+) and it was lovely to watch the sunset here and try all the different cocktails. In regards to the rooms they are fairly standard, nothing special but more than good enough. The maids were fantastic and restocked the mini fridge (which is free) every day and they would come back later if we were in the room when they turned up. The only other thing I would mention is people with any walking issues this may not be suitable for as there is lots and lots of steps everywhere. Definitely keeps you fit! Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, fantastic value for money and will definitely be back. Would recommend to anyone!

We stayed as group of 3 families with 6 children between us all under 5. We had booked suites to get 2 separate rooms for adults and kids - beware, the suites pictured on the Thomas Cook website are NOT the ones available to Thomas Cook customers. The ones you get are much, much smaller, and not a 'suite' by anyone's standards. They also do not have baths, only showers, contrary to the brochure. There were nice pool facilities for the kids which was good and the food in the buffet restaurant and the Turkish a la carte was excellent. Few areas that were quite shabby (broken drains and tiles around the pools, the rooms themselves, the mini golf etc). Everything generally very geared up for the French, which is fine, unless you want to participate in any of the activities, which were all mainly in French. As many have said, there is a lot of walking and steps, so not great for those who have mobility challenges. And although is says the land train will take you everywhere, it doesn't really - there is still a lot of walking necessary. All in all, the staff were pleasant enough, great food, good pool facilities and we had a nice time. but for all the reasons given, I would class this hotel as 3* only and so don't really feel that we had great value for money.

Great hotel, lovely apartments with fantastic views. Food was very good but disappointed there was an extra charge for dining in a le carte restaurants. Entertainment was a bit ordinary. It was a shame that there were not more excursions available as the resort is a bit far for exploring on foot. The room beverages were a bit on the sparse side as depending on where you were staying on the complex the main reception was quite far away.

We got 'bumped up' by TC from a 3*half board in Kusadasi to a 5* all inclusive resort (Paloma Sultan) in Ozdere. Ok it's a bit out of the way but so cheap (45mins) by Dolmus to Kusadasi. We aren't really 'herder's and thought the resort was a bit like a cruise without the ship. However the facilities were very good ; the food very good and the staff very friendly. Mixed Europeans there made for some excellent people watching! Turkish food night excellent; the a la carte restaurants aren't that special as the ambiance isn't followed through by the guests - flip flops etc. Ozdere is worth a look and with planning you can reach anywhere by Dolmus - no need to factor in euro taxi prices. We know the area well so took a 'risk' on Ozdere. Very pleased with our holiday

6th time in turkey in a row and has to be the best hotel by far! Every year we have had a few things to Fault but this year was faultless apart from one thing. As the pictures show the pools are lovely the infinity pool is the best out of all of them as the views are stunning the only problem was with the pools is that young children decide to you the pools as a toilet which ruins it for other guests as they shut the pool for the rest of the day as the chemicals need time to clean the pool this means everyone from which ever pool all rush to the opposite pool hoping for a sunbed. There are signs around the pools stateing clearly children under 6 years should wear a swim nappy it's just ashame the parents don't take notice in these. I know this can't be helped by the staff but guests have no consideration for other guests. This was the only problem everything else was amazing. The views were stunning, the food and drinks were widely varied the town is in walking distance and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful! Overall a brilliant holiday and would love to visit again!
