Although this hotel is classed as 5star it is not. Very tired and quite old fashion. Too many children every where no where for a quiet drink as there were always children running about and some times on little trikes or an air wheel going through the lounge area and in the restaurant. No representatives at this hotel to greet you or help and advise you about trips. Stuck quite away out so no nearby shops, the one shop that was in the reception only sold Russian or German papers magazines ect. Totally not geared up for British holiday maker. Even any documentation from thomascook was in Russian or German how does this work. That said the staff were very good and the waiters even agreed there were too many children and they could see our dispair. There was no view could not see the sea as were too far back.

We stayed for a week at half term in May with two Primary school aged children and we had a fantastic stay!! Great hotel with great pools and our kids loved the water slides. Plenty of sun beds both around the pools and on the beautiful sandy beach. Food in the main restaurant was very good but not outstanding compared with other 5 star hotels we have visted. Plenty of choices of where to eat at lunchtime. The Verde Pub was our favourite. If you have children you must visit the Glora Zoo a free shuttle bus 5 minutes away, have a go on the jet ski's on the beach, visit the hotel pattisere in the hotel for fablous chocolates, make time to see the children shows & don't forget the bowling alley! Hotel staff were always very all pleasant & helpful. Only tips & negative comment we have are: Only take Euros as Turkish Lira is second currency there. In the evening the hotel doesn't let you take drinks from the bar to your room which is no a problem unless you have young children who need to go to bed early! Don't miss out on the party on the Saturday night, music, dancing, amazing fireworks, bouncy castles for the children. A great end to a lovely holiday. We will defintately be returning very soon!

Gloria Verde Resort and Spa was amazing, the staff could not do more to make you stay wonderful. The food in all restraunts was amazing, service attentive but not intrusive, the Villas and pools were spotlessly clean and the whole experience was second to none

Booked this holiday on line in January. Travelled with sons + their partners + grandchildren. We had booked 3 twin bedded rooms + bed, but were upgraded to suites! Each had mini fridge re-stocked daily with soft drinks, beer, water & sweets which the kids loved. A bottle of wine and a piece of fruit in each suite. The food was a very good standard, Chefs were there to cook your meat/fish to your liking and all food was served hot. We decided every night was 'cocktail' night and even the children could participate with green, orange, blue drinks, very grown-up! The pools were very clean, no chloride. The slides and flume were supervised and the kids pool was very close to the kids club room, so if you had a child in the club and one in the pool you could keep your eye on both. There was a lifeguard on duty in the pool area and on the beach. The beach was lovely, plenty of sunbeds. No problem with sunbeds being reserved. The sea was a bit rough, so kids needed to be watched even if they could swim. The entertainment was good, with shows in the ampitheatre of acrobats, dance troupe, circus. The animation team organised archery, bowls, aerobics, water polo, volley ball all the usual things. The also did theme nights. One was ICE and we sat on ice seats, very cool!. Overall a great holiday.

I travelled with two girly friends to the GV. Gloria Verde is a lovely hotel, although rooms rather dated. Prior to booking and travelling we contacted thomas cook three times to ensure we would have 2 queen size beds plus a sofa bed in the suite we booked. Constantly assured this would be the case. Of course, it wasnt, we got one double and one sofa bed. Reception assured us they would sort it, but they didnt. In fact we were told to keep complaining otherwise nothing would be done. The TC Rep said she would look into it, but of course never did. Onto the hotel, the food was good, but I have had better, (the Papillon Belvil cannot be faulted). The bar had gentile music most nights which was pleasant. However to view the shows etc you had to go to the sister hotel, The Gloria Serenity. The hotel seems to be best suited (out of season maybe) to middle aged couples wanting a quite, serene holiday. Groups of golfers will be bored witless, as not a long going on in the hotel and Belek lacks the night life.
