Spoilt by the weather
We were not excited by the Sahara Beach Resort. The poor weather did not help and the attitude of some of the staff reflected this. One family booked for tennis, archery and crazy golf. They hung around for an hour and were then told that the reason a member of staff had not appeared was "it was too cold out there".
The food was interesting if sometimes a little repetitive. Omelettes at breakfast were great made to order as were pizzas at lunch and evening meal.
All outdoor pools could not be used due to temperature and the wind. The resort features a spa (at a cost) a gym (at a cost) and other activities which meant that staying around the hotel could be expensive. People who went on the two day tour into the desert said it was great as was the trip to El Jem.

Great Holiday in Tunisia
This was our 2nd visit t the Sahara Beach Hotel , we stayed form 16/7/14-23/7/14 ,there were about 7 or 8 other flights that arrived at the same time as ours and we had to wait nearly 2 hours for our rooms , when we eventually got them they both had double beds and were not interconnecting as had booked , travelling with 2 sons aged 20 and 15 1 parent had to sleep with one of them which I wasn't too happy about , what 20 year old boy wants to sleep in a double bed with his mother ?? I went to the reception and was told to come back in the morning and they'd sort the rooms out for us which they did , we had 2 twin rooms but weren't interconnecting but that didn't really bother us. You do have to get the sunbeds early ( by 7am ) but I'm an early riser so it didn't bother me and there are many pools to choose from anyway .Room service was excellent , beds made / clean towels every day and they even folded our clothes , bless lol Food was what you'd expect in a foreign country but there was ample choice to suit all , you had your table allocated on your first visit to the restaurant and kept it for the duration of your stay which we found great , no looking for a table every time. Entertainment could be better though it was all outside and if you didn't get there early you wouldn't get a seat so we didn't bother to go there much we went to the Piano Bar where there was karaoke / a singer most nights They could do with having different places with a wider variety of entertainment so places wouldn't be so crowded and everyone could get a seat .My husband and both sons did the paragliding on the beach which was excellent value for money 80 Dinar for the 3 of them which is about £28 . All in all we had a great holiday and would definately return in the near future x x x

Brilliant time had by all!!
What a fab holiday, just got back from a week away with my hubby and my 4 year old.
This place is fab, super clean, well maintained, great service and everything done for you.
We had amazing weather whilst there!
Four pools, 2 massive and 2 smaller. There is lots of bars and the restaurant is huge with plenty of choice with meat, fish, vegetables, pizza, pasta, and desserts to die for.....so much choice even for the fussiest of eaters.
Rooms are cleaned/tidied daily, the grounds are constantly maintained and tidied all day every day.
The staff can't do enough to help you, we where spoilt all week.
Could not recommend this resort enough.

great value for money and excellent staff
we stayed for a week at sahara beach hotel. This was a budget all inclusive holiday. On arrival the staff were very welcoming. We had upgraded our room and it was very spacious with lovely views. The food was ok. The allocation of a table for your entire stay is a great idea and the waiters were very nice and helpful. The pools were fabulous and the onsite water park was great. the gardens were beautiful and the hotel should be very proud of them. the beach was spotless and had 24 hour security who ensured our safety at all times. There is everything you need at this hotel. There was always entertainment and the kids club looked fun. If you are looking for a fun, budget holiday with the kids you wont get much better for your money, i would go back again and i would recommend it.

Great for the kids
The serving staff in resteraunts and bars were excellent. Reception staff not quite so helpful.
The rooms are really basic but clean and acceptable. The swimming pools/aqua park are excellent and plentiful.
Make sure you take your own sun creams and inflatables as they are very expensive in the resort.
The food was predictable but acceptable. Overall a great family holiday at a reasonable price.

Absolutely great value
The only down side is its a 3* hotel and a 1.5hr transfer from Enfidha airport.
This is a very large hotel, three blocks of about 400 rooms each. The joining ground floor includes the reception, TV room, games room , a bar and show room/bar plus bars, shops, nite club, indoor swimming pool and large restaurant.
Outside are the three large pools, two pool bars, a beach bar and outdoor theatre and an aqua park ans sports facilities. There is plenty of outdoor fun/games at one pool by the enthusiastic animation team who also provide much of the evening shows/entertainment.
The food in the restaurant is average but plenty of choice.
All the staff are very friendly and helpfull.
If you run out of money there is a plentifull supply of washed-up unopened packets of ciggies on the beach presumeably from failed smuggling exercises....definately not for smoking !!!
This is a great family hotel and is great value for the money
