This hotel is not rated correctly it most certainly should not be given 3 stars! We stayed here in December 17 and would never return here. The hotel is located on a busy main road making it very noisy to sleep at night and the beds in the room are rock solid so a decent sleep is impossible. The rooms are very dated and in need of a refresh, there is also no double sofa bed as stated in the room description. The bathroom has a horrible smell of sewerage which then escapes into the rest of the room. There is very little hot water so before even finishing a shower and the next person having chance the water starts to run really cold. The rooms are not cleaned well at all, the floor was dirty on arrival and bathroom has not been cleaned during the stay. The beds are not changed during the week. The food at the pool bar is awful and sausages at breakfast were not cooked and came out cold. Luckily the hotel isn't far from some nice restaurants and a beach where we could spend the majority of our time. There is also too many additional costs such as 30 euro deposit on arrival, cost of a room safe, hire if hair dryers, air con etc

Stayed for a week at the end of March 2014 with my husband. The apartment would of been marked up as excellent, but we were on the road side! Tends to be very busy and the sun is only on the balcony near midday. Noise was not a problem. It was colder at nights, but there was ample furry blankets on offer. Prices at the pool bar reasonable. plenty shops, supermarkets nearby. Restaurants galore at extremely reasonable prices. excellent location for covering that side of Tenerife on foot. Would not of liked to bring young children here as at the weekends the Stag/hen dos arrived and the pool area got loud which did not bother us but language does get 'rougher' the more cervatha gets consumed! All in all excellent holiday and will look into booking again here.

We stayed at the oro blanco in march, we got to our apartment from our Thomas cook transfer which was great with no problem. The reception at the apartment was very helpful friendly. We got our room and was really pleased with our two bed apartment. Yes it was basic but we dif not book five star. It was clean loads of room overlooking the pool. The whole week was fantastic with bars and night life very close. The service in the apartments was five star they could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had a couple of snacks in the pool bar and were lovely. The location is fantastic for everything. All in all i could not find a single fault with Thomas cook or the oro blanco apart from it was not long enough. I would recommend this to anyone going to tenerife. One happy customer.

We had a nice relaxing time here but would ask for block E or F next time, blocks A&B are above the restaurants and on the road, the smell is not very nice if you want to sit out on your balcony. Overall we had a lovely stay here and would go back there.
