The sol falco was an excellent hotel in a great location, 5 minutes walk to one beach and 10 minutes to the other and marina. The food was amazing breakfast lunch dinner and snacks inbetween! All staff were friendly. The entertainments team were fantastic. The pool area was extremely clean as was the rest of the complex. The hotel is child friendly. We are a family of 5 (3 children aged 14/11/5) and we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend it.

Went second week in september really enjoyed the holiday but thought we had paid for 4 star star rating at hotel only 3 star. Food was very good entertainment not bad but not very much for adults during the day. All in all the hotel was a very good 3 star.

Thomas Cook sold as 4 star - hotel gave itself 3 stars. My husband and I paid just short of £2k for one week. No one to help with cases on arrival. No lift, so we had to carry our cases up 4 lots of stairs. Room was scruffy with dirty ceiling fan, holes in curtains. Room door had massive gap underneath, did not open without force and rattled all night during a storm. Food at snack bar was cold when it should have been hot. Wine was not cold. Breakfast was OK. Only stayed one night and then moved to another hotel, which although more expensive was fine.

Cala'n Bosch is a lovely resort, worth the fairly long journey from Menorca's airport. Quiet, but with a lively marina area with plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel was excellent and the food outstanding. An excellent gym. Staff always courteous and helpful. Evening entertainment was a mixture of good shows and rubbish. Lots of swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds. A five minute easy stroll to a lovely beach. Expensive to hire sunbeds here, but you could just lie on a towel. We did both, but mainly the former because we really needed the shade of a parasol. Lots of coastal walks too, once we had had enough of sunbathing. We probably should have opted for the all-inclusive option, rather than half-board,as that would have worked out cheaper in the long run. The only real downside was the very early morning coach departure ( 6.25am) back to the airport.

We arrived at the hotel at 12pm. Our room wasn't ready, so we had to store our cases in left luggage room. We had been up since 3am travelling so we we were hungry. The Restaurant didn't open till 1pm, so we walked about for an hour. The food was impressive, although it felt like being in a canteen. At 2pm we went back to reception. They said we had to wait another hour. But we insisted enough was enough, & hey presto, our room was suddenly ready! We had a Flintstones themed room, which my 6 year old son loved. The pools were nice and always sun beds. The majority of guests were Italian though, hardly any English. The beach seemed a lot further than 200 metres from the hotel. More like 2000! The resort centered round a lovely harbour, but the Sol Falco was a trek away from it. The hotel is best if you want to stay round pool & stay in complex. The entertainment was good quality. If I went to Cala'n Bosch again, I'd stay at The Hotel Cala'n Bosch, right on beach & near harbour.
