Bit expensive for type of Hotel as air conditioning was extra and it was definitely required even at the beginning of June. A pity also that the bar was not open at all, although the Hotel situated opposite had a bar. The pool would have benefited from an open bar. There were however lovely walks and boat rides directly from the beach.

Good hotel very friendly owners, room a little disappointing very thin walls and view only of trees. Very quiet part of Perissa but close enough to tavernas, beach and buses. Breakfasts always the same but ok.

It was our first visit to the island, did nt want to leave ,felt so at home there . Hotel Artemis was basic ,but felt like somebody s home and we were special guests . Quiet pretty ,friendly - I could go on . We are returning in a couple of weeks - not to the same hotel - it was full !! :( Loved Perissa ,the people ,the beach ,the food ,the sunsets and the moon risings .And of course -the weather !

A great, traditional Greek hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. At a quiet end of the village, but not a problem at all, as only 5-10 minutes from the beachfront bars and restaurants. The mountain gives a perfect backdrop, and is a good challenge to walk up, to reach ancient Thera!! Had a fantastic 2 weeks here (7-21st Aug 2012) and would gladly book to go straight back, next year...

We had a fabulous time in Perissa staying at the Artemis, the hotel is in a great location, was clean and the staff welcoming. Just to warn those with mobility problems there are steep and narrow spiral stairs to the bedroom, not a problem for us but may be for some. But if you like a quiet location in a quaint typically Greek hotel, I would recommend the Artemis.
