We spent 2 weeks at Roda Beach hotel from 25th July 2017. Our first impression of the hotel was how clean and well looked after it is. We arrived about 1.30am and the reception dealt with us very quickly, in fact so quick that they didn’t ask us if we required a safe or towels or anything, however there service was much better during the daytime. The location is lovely with its own beach and we had a lovely sea view. The hotel is all inclusive, good variety of food and something for all tastes. The drinks however could have been better, during the day they are served in small flimsy plastic cups and most of the time are only half full, so 2 sips and it was gone. The biggest let down for us was the entertainment. The main reception had an area with a stage and tables but was never used. There is an outside area called the theatre and it is a small with a stage and tiny plastic seats in a semi circle in front of it, ok for children but not for the elderly. No tables or bar either. We ended up either having a late dinner and then returning to our room or going to the nearby town Roda. The British presence at this hotel is very low and makes you feel as though you are in a minority which is why we spent most of our time in nearby Roda, Sidari or Kassiopi where we felt welcome, however this ended up costing us quite a lot more than we anticipated. We had a late departure and where able to put our luggage in a room, however this was not locked and anyone could go in there. Our only other disappointed was the presence of the Thomas Cook rep or should I say non presence, we only saw her on the morning of our meeting In the whole of the 2 weeks. We would return to Corfu it is beautiful but would find another hotel.

very nice resort although would think it would be trying in the high season. The hotel was only running at 60% occupancy but was still struggling at meal times. During school holidays, I would think it might too much for mature couples. The speciality restaurants are a must (if you can get a booking). Wi-Fi is very difficult to get connected. We paid 25 euros for the hotel Wi-Fi and could not get connected most of the time. Keep to the free hotel Wi-Fi and save your money. The staff are great and are mostly very happy to help you.(One or two are perhaps in the wrong industry). Al in all a very well run happy hotel
