After reading a particularly negative review I feel I need to comment as it sounds like a completely different hotel to what we have experienced! As a family of three, we have stayed in this hotel in July for the past four years and are returning for our fifth visit this year. Yes, the hotel does have entertainment on until around midnight but you will find this in any hotel. Last year the entertainment was out the back behind our room and although you could hear it, it wasn't loud enough to keep you awake. This is a fantastic hotel for families and not nearly as busy & noisy & crowded as the hotels in Protaras. One year we did get ants in our bathroom, we contacted reception and it was dealt with almost immediately. It's a hot country, these things happen! Last year we asked to change rooms, (there was nothing wrong with the room we were given it's just my daughter likes to have her bed in the bedroom with us and there wasn't enough space in the room to do this) again reception arranged for us to move to another room the next morning. We have never had a room that's not clean. I have never had any complaints about the staff, we have always found them to be friendly & extremely helpful even although I have noticed some guests are rude and don't even have the manners to say please & thank you to them! It's the staff that make our holiday, it wouldn't be the same without them. The manager, Menelaos is a lovely man who is very approachable and will sort out any problem you may have almost immediately. The hotel is situated in an amazing location with everything you may need close by. There are many people return to the Marlita year after year.

This is the first time I've commented on a holiday. We spent two weeks in Aug 2017 at this amazing hotel. 20 of us in our group. All our wedding guests had a sea view. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The views are so beautiful. Both the Thomas cook wedding rep and hotel wedding coordinator were extremely helpful. The day went exactly how I imaged it to be. We stayed in a suit. Very spacious and clean. Room was cleaned every day and clean towels. Nice to be able to eat out at other restaurants as part of the all inclusive. Can't fault this hotel. Would love to return one day.

we have returned to this hotel for many years because we love the location and atmosphere so much.its an excellant base for a really good holiday giving peace and quiet if you want it yet only a short distance from protarus town either by 20 min stroll or short taxi/bus ride.while we were half board and the hotel provided good choices we ate out locally in spectrum, blue spice and amalfi restraunts.none of these were expensive. on the negative side internet is charged for which i think should be free in a 4 star.local bars however do give free access.in my opinion the all inclusive market has somehow destroyed this area.entertainent as repetative and unfortunately no different from previous years.we will definately return to cyprus but are considering pafos after having a really good day trip organised by thomas cook

Terrible Hotel that's needs to be totally overhauled. Terrible rudeness from people employed here ( take lessons from young girl running the bar who is helpful and POLITE!! ) would not say Thomas Cooks 4* rating correct or pictures represent what most guests receive. Would not recommend to anyone. Apart from great weather, Worst holiday EVER !
