i have to say i have been to quite a few hotels & apartments but the Avanti Hotel Village has t be up there in the number 1 spot. We stayed in the Village Apartment which is more for families but it was nice, clean & quiet, the Hotel is more for couples looking or a quiet holiday. Both have a great pool & you will always have a sunbed no matter what time you want to sunbath. The Restaurant Manageress Renata welcomes you with a very big smile & is the most amazing lady i have ever meet on holiday, we became good friends.. It was my partners birthday while we was there, we went out for the day & when we arrived back we returned to our room to find a bottle of Champaign from her & when we went to dinner we had a reserved table which was all done up special & Fanos (the hotel & village manager) escorted us to like he does with all the guests for dinner. Once we had finished our dinner the lights went out & Renata with a cake & candles along with Fanos & the waiters came to our table singing him happy birthday, it was so lovely as the other guests also joined in. we have always been away for his birthday but have never had a member of staff go to the extreme to make the day extra special, Renata has got such a very big heart & treats everyone the same, he just great & i just cant say enough about her or Fanos. I would fully recommend going here with your family or just yourselves you wont be disappointed. the beach is a small lovely walk away & the buses are regular to go sightseeing, thee staff & the Thomas cook rep Andria (who is also a lovely lady & went out o her way to get my partner a card for his birthday) will help you. .

Stayed in a 1 bed apt at the avanti village, the first thing we noticed was the smell of the bedroom and bathroom,it smelt of damp and stale urine, then noticed that we had mould growing behind the curtains!! We had to get some ant spray from reception as the apt was over run with giant ants all week. Unfortunately we were overlooking the main path through the village so had no sleep all week due to the noise from drunks shouting and yelling all night! We ended up eating at the hotel after a few days as the birds were allowed to eat off the buffet as well, which put us off as they were eating everything from the cheese and ham to the cereal. It wasn't all bad though as they do have a lovely swimming pool with plenty of loungers to go around. The walk to the harbour via the sea front is also a nice walk if a little bumpy with lots of weddings going on. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, although for us we wouldn't return to Cyprus again as we felt it not very disabled friendly for our daughter who is in a wheelchair. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star!!!

We had a memorable family holiday at the Avanti Village ( 2 adults and two children aged 10 &13), for all the right reasons. Apart from it being a little far away from the harbour (but still in walking distance along a stunning coastal path) we cannot find any fault with the accomodation, resort and facilities all of which were spotless and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and courteous. We would advise hiring a car if you wish to explore the Paphos area and further afield but these were easily available and very reasonably priced. There is no doubt in our minds that we will return not just to Paphos but also the Avanti Village.

All the manager was worried about was the bill we hadn't paid no sorry for the poor service and good. Just you need to pay . Honestly that experience put a downer on the whole holiday. One which we would of reccommended but the way the manager treated us over that meal made us think.
